Being from South Florida, I wasn't used to the Wawa experience until I started taking my kids to Walt Disney World in Orlando. Now when traveling, I seek out Wawa as it is - more often than not - a very pleasant experience.
As for the Port Orange location, it's a clean store with very friendly staff. On a recent stop to this location, I filled up with regular unleaded and purchased some food items. A toasted bagel with cream cheese, a 12 ounce frozen lemonade, and a 24 ounce coffee.
Bagel had an ample amount of cream cheese. I ordered "extra" but my toasted bagel came a bit lacking. Maybe I'm used to loading up on the cream cheese, but no big deal. My daughter ordered a frozen lemonade and she seemed happy. She must have been happy as she is quick to complain or leave her own Yelp review. 24 ounce coffee was .79 and I had an opportunity to make it just the way I wanted.
Clean restrooms - no complaint there.
Overall a decent experience. Will return to this Wawa when traveling and in the area.

Read moreClean and friendly staff. We have issues with perpetual panhandlers at this location harassing customers at the gas pumps. In fact, I won't let my wife go there alone anymore. The staff sees it happening and does nothing. The ones we see the most are a dark haired girl with her bushy haired boyfriend. She does her eye makeup to make it look smeared as if she has been crying. He roams around or sits in their silver van while she solicits money. She asks for something weird like 70 cents or some other strange amount. One more thing that is safety related...the music by the pumps is too loud. Most people are unaware that someone is walking up on them while they are pumping gas because they cannot hear them coming. They are startled. If they fix the panhandler problem, this location would be a ten. Update still plenty of pain handlers creeping up on you. Employees see them and do nothing. Same with city of port orange. Try to avoid at night and be aware of your...
Read moreVery good pricing in comparison to other exits, savings within 15 miles south bound was 30 cents per gallon. Proceed east on the I-95 Dunlawton exit in Daytona area, WaWa is on your right hand side. You're saving average of $.10 compared to other fuel retailers at this exit, without having to be a member. Inside the gas station they offer fresh pastries, hot include beverages, fountain sodas, snacks, cigarettes & cell phone accessories. There is better selection for shopping at other places like Kangaroo, Raceway, or QT... there are no gifts, clothing, or souvenirs sold in WaWa. This is not a trucker friendly location. I would consider it comparable to Cumberland Farms. This location is clean, friendly employees, cheap gas prices, a snack and a drink are available, coupons & daily specials are posted, an app for smart phones, and in a safe location aprox 1...
