I definitely want to come back and try the sandwiches or any of the savory options here to give it a truly fair rating. But, having said that, I did try the wild blueberry whole grain muffin and the marionberry scone and sadly I wasn't super impressed. It of course is all made with whole grains so expect the texture to be a lot less fluffy and more spongy (?). The muffin was alright, not my favorite ever but definitely better than the scone. I liked that it was ungodly sweet and would be perfect for breakfast if you're not into very sweet things. The blueberries were fresh and scattered throughout. I wanted to enjoy the scone especially bc I love marionberries but this was just not it. It was a weird texture for a scone, very spongy and almost too wet - dense but definitely not typical of a traditional scone. It also wasn't sweet, but in the scone, this was much more of a letdown than the muffin was. Neither were too great, but maybe a healthy option for those seeking more whole grains in their diet. I wasn't, so it just wouldn't have been my first pick. I will definitely go back to try the sandwiches though since those...
Read moreThere are two words to describe their treats. Eye candy and amazingly delicious. It's not all pretentious and doesn't try to be European style like so many of those other "Artisan" bread bakeries. Their creations are so unique and bursting with flavor. They bake them fresh in shop too! They've got everything from fresh monkey bread, chocolate peppermint loaves to apple crunch bread which is my favorite. It's almost like an apple pie in bread form. Their cookies are gigantic and when summer comes around try their ice cream sandwiches. Indulgent! Like their bread, their baked goods are made from scratch and easily the best in the area. Their pesto swirl is amazing too. It's such a delicious and savory bread that butter and any other topping is not needed. A couple slices alone are a meal. When you walk into the place they offer you a thick slice many of the breads that they have to sample on the cutting board which is really fun. Seriously if you haven't tried this place you really need to...
Read moreAvoid this place at all costs. I tried to order from here and was told to fill out a form to place my order when I just wanted to order something off their menu. Then had to walk through filling out a different form to place an order for a menu item. Was asked which kind of bread, given 3 choices that were hip edgy names instead if types of bread. When I asked if they had any of their regular white, they didn't know. They figured it out after a lot of confusion and running around.
After I placed my order, I was told they were out of the main protein for the order. They didn't give me a receipt so they panicked when I asked to cancel my order.
If the staff hadn't been acting like children, goofing around and joking, they might have actually known what their product inventory was but sadly this place seems to only employ kids posing as adults.
Again, avoid this circus...
