I'm amazed to find all the positive reviews of this place. The first time I went there they were closing but the guy was nice enough to still serve me. I thought it was my lucky day, was looking forward to trying another food truck in Portland (and craving a burrito) after having just moved here. Unfortunately he was lazy and didn't prepare fresh chicken but instead decided to use what little he had left over from the last person he must have served. You know what he did have a lot of though? Black freakin beans. When I got the burrito I was excited because it was ridiculously huge and I was starving. However, I basically had received the beaniest, wateriest, and chickenless burrito I have ever eaten, well 1/4 eaten since the rest ended up in the trash. It was nasty and dripping water out the rear end like a punctured bean filled balloon. I'm never going back even if I happened to just have a personal bad experience with a lazy worker that day. The dude needs some serious training on customer satisfaction. I will eat at a place everyday if they treat me well and have decent food, even if they mess up once, maybe twice, but if you offer me a serious blunder just out of the gates, you will never see my business again. Eat here at your own risk, and I would recommend staying away during closing hours if a dude is behind...

La Casita's breakfast burritos are literally the size of your forearm and stuffed with perfectly seasoned ham, bacon, or my personal favorite chorizo. These things are loaded with meat but still maintain a good balance with all the other toppings they cram in there. Top it all off with one of the spiciest red salsa I've ever had and let it send you to flavor town. If you have a massive appetite and a love for quick greasy Mexican cart food this is the spot on the west side...
Read moreOrdered food the other day and so incredibly happy I did. The carnitas wasn’t full of fat chunks, was perfectly tender/crispy. The carne asada was surprisingly the star of the show, chopped perfectly to not have the typical tough/stringy chew/bland taste of skirt steak. The El Pastor’s flavor was super bold/smoky but had a puddle of grease which isn’t for me. The chicken was a little bland for my taste, but the red and green salsa really helped in that department. Overall one of the best Mexican food I’ve had outside of Mexico/...
