Olé Latte Coffee — Restaurant in Portland

I wasn't expecting to be so charmed by this sweet little coffee truck!

Friends and coworkers have had me try their coffee before and it's amazing, but my 5 starts comes from my first venture to the cart on my own today. When I arrived, the gentleman at the register was helping someone whose payment was not working get a coffee from their pay it forward program. During my interaction with him, he was so kind I was actually a little taken aback! He patiently answered my questions (as someone who can be picky about coffee, I usually have a lot) and just generally made me feel really good about being there. We need more places like this in Portland, where you don't have to worry about accidentally upsetting someone or being treated poorly. I ended up buying a pay it forward drink as well and he gratefully explained how much it meant to be able to provide drinks to people who are down on their luck. They're easy to miss if you're following Google Maps! It is well hidden in the side of a parking garage! I stopped by on a rainy Saturday morning for a coffee and bagels. My bf and I both had the Christmas tree Latte (I think that's what it was), and they were delicious. The girl making your coffee and ringing you up was extremely friendly and positive, it was refreshing. We also stopped next door for bagels, which is a truck right next to the coffee truck. Also, they have a chalkboard next to the window on each truck where they have "suspended" items (coffee, bagels, etc) where you have the option to prepay for someone else's, in case they don't have any money.
