I ordered a hot tea - specifically lotus green loose leaf tea that seemed to have nuanced flavors from the description. They put a tea bag in extremely hot boiling water in a large cup and gave it to me. I wasn’t sure for how long to brew it but took the tea bag out after 5-10 minutes. Perhaps since the water was too hot for green tea, the tea tasted burnt/oversteeped. For a tea place, I would expect them to brew the tea for the customers for the right time/right temperature/right quantity of water. Maybe their boba milk teas are good but don’t order...

Updated review: can’t stop coming back here - I am in love with their Bánh mì! I could seriously have one every day and not tire of it. So good (and consistently so!)

The banh mi. Oh man the banh mi. One bite takes you on a tangy mouth adventure through sultry savory jungles, into subtly saucy rivers, and over crispy crunchy hills. First, the bread cracks under the bearing weight of the teeth revealing a healthy serving of Vietnamese deli cuts. Behind that, hide a secret dash of mayo and sauce. And then just when you thought it was getting good. The pickled veggies will guide your hand to another world granting you passage to hunger satisfaction. All for $6-7.
