A Hidden Gem for Seafood Lovers! 🦞🍤
I had an absolutely incredible experience at Cap’t Loui and can’t recommend it enough! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and full of that perfect coastal charm. The aroma of fresh seafood hits you right away—and trust me, it only gets better from there.
We ordered a seafood boil with shrimp, crab legs, and mussels tossed in their signature Loui Sauce (medium spice), and it was out of this world. Every bite was flavorful, perfectly cooked, and seasoned just right. The portion sizes were generous, and the quality of the seafood was top-notch—fresh and juicy, not overcooked or rubbery like you might find elsewhere.
Now, I have to take a moment to shout out our amazing server, Melina. She was absolutely phenomenal—super friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, and made sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling rushed. She checked in at just the right times and made the whole experience even more enjoyable. It’s rare to find service that feels both professional and personal, but Melina...

The outside and inside of the place was very clean and plenty of room around the tables. As we walked in, they were playing 90s R&B- definitely had the right vibe!
Shout out to our waitress, Lexi for giving us good advice on which flavors to try for the boil, drinks to try and dessert! Great service!
We’re pretty well-versed in seafood boils so it was nice to see that there was one available. We decided to go with a pound of headless shrimp and half pound of black mussels and half pound of snow crab legs with the captain Louie sauce, at medium level hot. We asked to sample the extra hot and the xx-hot, since we weren’t familiar with their spices. Definitely loved the hot! We ended up tossing in the hot into the bag, mixed it up, it was a great mix!
I’d definitely come back if I’m...
Read moreWay overpriced! We came here for lunch and ordered 2 lbs of snow crabs, 1 small lobster tail, half lbs mussels and half lbs of clams. Total bill came out $170….and for that price we thought the food was gonna be great…nope, snow crab tasted horrible and not fresh. I was literally angry while sitting there. Total rip off. To be fair the service was great! No wonder you guys had an empty restaurant on Saturday!
I’m gonna reply to your comments here: snow crab tastes horrible, for that price you should get some high quality/fresh ones. The meat is supposed to come off mostly one or two pieces if they are fresh. Yours tasted like was in the freezer for 2 years and meat came off in shattered pieces. And are you suggesting we should not tip your waitress? We didn’t order anything else. Food plus tax was 141.48, and we tipped your waitress 20% so the...
