Steve's Marquee Cafe — Restaurant in Providence

This is a gem in downtown Providence, but probably not widely known by visitors and tourists—which can be both good and bad. Good because you can get right in for fresh food and great service, but bad because they really do deserve to be better known. As it is, everyone lurking around downtown is already hip to the place and you’ll always find a collection of local University students, professor-types, and local workers. This adds to the eclectic and comfortable atmosphere. First time in here and will NOT be going back. I walked in and took a look at the menu, the only person in line. As I am about to order some old man comes in and barges past me and proceeds to order, they said nothing. So I got myself a Americano, espresso shot with hot water over it, should be quite strong. Mine was anything but, it is sort of like a cup of that watery coffee you get in dinners. I stopped by this morning to grab a quick bite before class, but my experience was far from what I expected. As a college student, I was just looking for a simple, convenient meal to start my day but instead, I found a hair in my sandwich. Definitely not how I wanted my morning to go.
