I recently moved to Attleboro from New Mexico this past year. I have been in the leather community for over 30yrs. I have been fortunate enough to travel the world and in these travels I have visited many a bar especially “leather bars”. While I do like Cocktail, show, piano and drag bars, I much prefer a leather bar. I visited The Stable and it is a cute place. My friends and I call this the starter bar. If you plan on bar hopping for the evening, this is stop number 1. The bartenders are friendly but seem to have a little attitude. The kind you expect from a bartender. The crowd, well let’s just say it’s a mix. Young, college, yuppie kind of crowd. I’m a leatherman and appreciate all kinds of bars but this is not my go to. Drinks are good. Prices are fine.    Read moreThe Stable has changed for the better in the past few years, it feels like a more inclusive space for everyone. The bartenders are very responsive and make excellent drinks. The price for cocktails is excellent compared to other bars.
This is the perfect pregame spot before making your way to other bars and clubs. Or if you like a relatively calmer place to meet new people, it’s also great for that too.
