So 2 years ago had a BAD experience BUT decided to give a second chance so glad we did KICH Radio Reviews was able to try out Cactus Flower Mexican Restaurant last night we were promptly greeted and seated in their spacious bar area, our server was very attentive and made certain our requests were met promptly. We ordered Combo #8 A ground beef burrito, cheese and onion enchilada, a shredded chicken enchilada, a pork tamale and a bean tostada with an a'la carte Relleno and The $15.99+Relleno $5.99 total $21.98 and The Combo Fajitas Served with sour cream, guacamole, Pico de Gallo, shredded cheese, refried beans, rice and tortillas. Fajitas are sauteed with bell peppers and onion $16.99 and The February Signature Drink Strawberry Moscato Margarita don't recall the price on that but was well worth it only downfall was served in a tall glass as opposed to classic Margarita glass... The food came out Mexican Plate Hot lol and in a timely manner The Pork Green Chile a Colorado FAVORITE was on point great flavor profile, The breading on the Relleno was well done not overly eggy the undisclosed chile I'm assuming Poblano had the texture you expect from a good Relleno tamale was traditional southwest with pork and red chile enchiladas,, burrito all very well seasoned plenty of cheese all around there was rice and beans as well but as we know I'm not a huge fan of beans & rice lol The Fajitas of course came out Sizzling and served with a generous side of cheese, Guacamole,Sour cream, Lettuce, etc and The Kicker for me was what appeared to be "FRESH HOMEMADE TORTILLAS" This Resturant is worth the try if going out as a couple but be Aware if bringing a larger group the gratuity is Added Immediately and you have no option of choice GOOD BAD OR INDIFFERENT But with the service we received is not too much to ask KICH RADIO Approved! ( Side NOTE) The placement of the window in relation to the seating is cause for a better covering blind or otherwise as a car had it's glaring headlamps right in my wife's face which was a bit of a nuisance and gave her a bit of a headache other then that good job all around...

Walked in was told a 10-15 min wait ,host forgot about me and my wife so..I approached the male host after 20 min while a little confused why other people who had not waited got seated before I and my wife, asked the male host about the 10-15 min wait he then proceeded to walk us to our table while saying he forgot about us....NOT a good 1st impression.when arriving at our table I and my wife were approached by a waitress IMMEDIATELY I might add she asked what we were having to drink , I asked her where the menu was that showed us our drink options she immediatly went to the mixed alcoholic drinks and had menus for several mixed drinks I said that we would not be having any alcoholic drinks and asked again where the menu was that we could choose non alcoholic drinks the waitress said there is none and spouted out a few drinks like tea, coke, and water....confused ....I asked do you have sweet tea? Her eyes rolled back in her head and very impatiently answered of course we do. I then ordered sweet tea.the waitress then asked my wife what she was having to drink my wife said well...if you don't have anything except tea, coke and water to choose from I will take coke.the waitress said ok,then left. The waitress then brought our drinks back to the table very quickly that we ordered. She preceded to ask us what we were going to have to eat this evening? Mind you we had been at the table for no more than 8 minutes from the time we were seated .I said that we were still looking at the menu and needed more time to decide ,AGAIN the waitress rolled her eyes in the back of her head and said ok,took a deep sigh and said she would be back then walked off,at this point I was feeling extremely rushed and I knew that we had a very impatient waitress a few more minutes past and she returned saying are you ready to order now ?I answered and said my wife is however I have a few questions. she took my wife's order and when asked what my order was I asked her about item#12 she answered my question and I changed my selection to #13 due to not wanting a deep fried taco and not being offered a soft taco i wanted without being charged an additional 99 cents as stated on the menu.while completing my #13 order she again rolled her eyes and left to place our order. Our order arrived and well I will tell you after requesting the female manager on 03-16-2019 and bringing to her attention about everything I and my wife experienced this evening and telling the manager I was an are supervisor over a multi million dollar food chain as well as a United States Army veteran honorably discharged the mgrs response was very POOR in my professional opinion while my ticket was said by the manager to have included a Veteran discount there was nothing done about any of my complaints and nothing done about the tostada that was soggy or the waitress much less how I and my wife were forgotten in the first place or how we were rushed by the waitress or the rude behaviour if the waitress. After this experience I would advise the owners to teach patience and kindness to the waitress and teach the manager that the customer is the one that helps supplies money for there paycheck and when there is a complaint of this magnitude not to brush it off with a smile and a Veteran discount.I did leave the waitress a 2.26 tip after all she did bring the food to the table and the sweet tea and coke. By the way supply a menu for non alcoholic drinks as well and stop having your waitresses push alcoholic drinks on your customers. My clientele and US Veterans will be told of this experience......Good luck with having any of that business in your establishment....

My husband and I had a wonderful experience here! We ordered a plate of cheese enchiladas and a chicken chimichanga, both of which did not disappoint! The enchiladas were chock-full of hot melted cheese and smothered in chili, and the chimichanga was crispy and likewise smothered. The shredded chicken used by the cooks was made up of both light and dark meat, and was juicy and flavorful all by itself. The beans and rice were wonderful, thought the chips and salsa honestly tasted a bit odd to us (probably because we are used to firey-hot salsa back in Texas). Wonderful meal! Lorenzo was our waiter, and he did a wonderful job. He took care of us throughout the entire meal, and was always present for requests or questions from his guests. We were especially greatful for the thorough questions he asked us throughout our time there to make sure our experience was nothing short of stress-free and pleasant, and our food, nothing short of perfect. The atmosphere was welcoming and warm. The hispanic decor suited the restaurant, and was tastefully used throughout the entire restaurant. The music likewise complimented the experience, and was upbeat and interesting while played at a comfortable volume. Overall, we had a great experience here and recommend it highly! PS. The cards of rescued animals that need homes which were placed on all the tables was a wonderful touch and pulled at my heartstrings just a tad! Nice touch considering how many people love animals, and how many animals need homes!

This place is legit! First off, go early! This place is popular and was crowded. We went on a Friday at 5p, but our wait time was less than 10 mins to be seated. As we waited we noticed how CLEAN everything was. The ceiling vents, the fans, the decorations on the walls... Clean, clean, clean! This is ALWAYS a good sign! Our server Claudia was ahh-mazing. Pleasant, knowledgeable, and super helpful. I asked for suggestions and she gave me three options. I took her up on one of the combos and it did not disappoint. She knows the menu. The drinks (a lavender martini and strawberry margarita) were so good and potent. The chips were fresh, the salsa was good too (mild if that's your jam). However, the salsa, I believe, was made with oregano? I'm guessing here, but once it was pointed out, suddenly all I could taste was marinara sauce. Ahahaha. I ordered the pork guacamole burrito/chicken taco combo with red chili sauce. The food was hot, flavorful, and delicious. The taco was crispy, the chicken moist and cooked well. The portions were large and worth the money. If you're in the area and need some legit Mexican food, this is the place. PS... One criticism, check the Green Plate (?) My wife is vegetarian and we did not see any mention of meat in the description on the menu. However, when we got the dish, there was pork under (or mixed in) the rice. Otherwise, we loved our dining experience.
