Mojito Bay — Restaurant in Put-in-Bay Township

I normally don't give reviews at all but I was there on Sunday August 13th the bar was not that busy but there was an issue with these everywhere that I understand with it being an outside bar you don't have much control over that my girlfriend ordered a drink a strawberry daiquiri to be exact and she took one sip out of it and two bees landed in it and we're swimming in it so I went up to the bar and politely asked of the bartender if he could simply give us a new cup not asking for a full new drink just maybe half because several bees flew in the drink and my girlfriend did not want to drink it at that point after standing there for 10 minutes trying to get the bartenders attention when I said something to him he looked at me and laughed I continue to wait there he came back again after another 5 minutes said sorry can't do anything about it flick it out to me that was one of the worst experiences I've ever had up at Put in Bay let alone a bar I don't think I was asking for a lot just wanted him to acknowledge and see if he could help out the fact that my girlfriend was grossed out by bugs Landing in her drinks I will never set foot in that place again and the bartender had no sense of urgency nor did the rest of the staff there I'm sure there's other people I've had similar experiences there and I would never recommend this place to anybody...

We all ways look forward to going to Mojito Bay when we visit the island. However our experience last night has left us not wishing to return. We came in on a Thursday night and it just hit 1 am. There was still at least 15 people still in the place so we ordered drinks and sat down to enjoy the end of the night. We were sitting for no more than 14 mins when they yelled last call. We notice many people had left all of the sudden but we want to enjoy our drinks and finish our cigars. 10 mins later a guy came over and said he was shutting it down and we had to get out. I looked at my watch and it said 1:24 .....I said I thought you were open till 2 am? He said not tonight and made us leave. I understand needing to stop serving but you have people in your establishment with much of their drinks left and you want to push them out? We would not have ordered and maybe you should stop letting people in if you wish to close outside of your posted hours. No one in our group was being unruly and we all felt that being told to gulp down our drinks or leave them was extremely disrespectful. I have celiac, so I ordered Tito’s and water with lemon, as usual. The bar tender gave us a different vodka, I ask again for Titio’s, he sends a crew to come kick me out. This is not to mention the guy(s) coming to kick me out, for some reason felt he needed to firmly grab me from behind in attempts to drag me out, I assume. This was extremely unnecessary and out of line. I didn’t even know anyone was coming. We had to ask for a manager, and the manager did have them just remake the drink, but by that point damage was already done. For whatever reason, the bartender felt that we weren’t going to pay for our drinks, even though we had already paid him(and tipped him well) multiple times prior to this, as we stood at the bar for quite some time and paid for each drink as we ordered. I have never been so embarrassed at a bar, I can’t even believe this happened. I am allergic to certain vodkas and this guy calls his crew to come kick me out for it.
