This is a story about PetSmart's associates banfield hospital Well horror story my dog's life was taken yesterday at this hospital and though they could lend me the money to put my dog to sleep in payments they couldnt lend me the money a day and a half to get my dog better or to run test I would have even have adopted her out if they would have fixed her and I couldn't afford it but instead I was told my dog was sick Wich was obvious that's why I brought my dog in on there free exam flyer they sent me then they told me how much it was gonna cost to find out what's wrong cuhz she had a temperature and the day before she was puking and the day I took her in she was pooping blood Wich is why I took her in either way when I took her in they automatically hooked her up to IVs they said just to keep her hydrated then they got her fever to come down but wouldn't run any test or do anything for her unless I payed them up front money so they came in trying to find different ways to come up with there money asking us to borrow money or some other way if we can think bout it tried having us sign up for multiple programs to help pay for our dog to just get tested and helped when they realized they wasn't getting money out of us they told us how we already owe them for services so far and that they don't know what's wrong with my dog Cuhz they can't do test cuhz I can't pay for them so they wouldn't feel comfortable releasing my dog to us cuhz they don't know if she is in pain since I didn't pay for there $200. Test so we now had no choice but to let them lend us $200. To put her down or to pay them now some money and they will try and save her I loved my girl dog she was best friends with the cat and everyone I know loved her she didn't deserve to get murdered because I didnt have there money to save her I know if I would have taken her home I could have got her better instead I lost my sweetheart all these people worried about was getting paid not my animal but of course since I don't have money no one will even care about what they did to my dog either RIP Shorty I am sorry I lost you due to being broke I would have never took you there if I knew I wasn't gonna get you back please don't shop or give business to this place or its associates give shorty some kind of justice it's probley the only justice she will get banfield killed shorty cuhz I didn't have money to save her and they wouldn't let me take her home to try and save her PLEASE get the word out about what happened to shorty she was seen yesterday April 26 at banfield hospital in Ontario on 4th st. The service we were given at our drop off for Doggy day camp was horrible! When we called we specifically asked if they had curb side drop off for our dogs. We were told yes, that they offered doggy valet from 8-9. We let them know that at the time of dropping off our boys (Husky and a black lab) I'd also have my baby so it was important for me to know id be able to just drop them off with out having to get out of the car. We were told that they would help me w my boys and would bring the paper work to me to sign, just to call and let them know i was there so they can can help me.

I get there, and call to let them know im here to drop off my dogs for the doggy day camp. The girl that answered the phone said she cant come out and help me, that theyre not doing the doggy valet. I told her we were told they would do that and thats specifically the main reason we booked them. She said i had to come in and bring my boys myself. I explained id need help bc i have my baby with me and i was unable to handle taking in both dogs and my baby. She told me to just leave the dogs in car while i fill out the paper work.

No, i did not leave them in the car, i struggled to take the boys and my baby in, but with the help of a gentleman doing a delivery for them, i was able to get in.

My whole thing is, if you are no longer doing a service, why would you even offer it! They assured us i would get help w the dogs and i didnt have to leave the car! Then i get there and really struggled to take the boys in while i had my baby as well!! and how are they gonna tell me to leave my boys in the car!? It was just uncalled for! Had they told us from the beginning they didnt do the dog valet we wouldve made other arrangements or planned it differently instead of having to struggle the way i did. It was definitely a horrible experience and we will not be returning again! We had made a reservation for mon-thurs. we paid just for monday and cancelled the rest of the days. We will no longer buy our pet suplies and food from there...

ONE START IS TOO MANY!!! I took my puppy (11 week Toy maltipoo) to Petsmart to be groomed (puppy wash) 3 days later I had to take my puppy to the vet (Banfield) because his ear smelled funny and he kept scratching at it, well come to find out my puppy got an ear infection because the groomer got lots of water in his ear. A few weeks later I brought My puppy back to Petsmart groomers and paid 45.00 for a haircut , I asked for a trim and a wanted his facial hair to be rounded (teddy bear face ) I showed the groomer the length I wanted on the display Mat she had laying on the counter . 3 hours later the groomer calls back and tells me My puppy is ready to be picked up and says "I had to cut his hair little shorter then we discussed because he was a little matted on his back legs" (I'm thinking ok no big deal) I go to pick up my 11 week old puppy and his coat was completely shaved down to his skin!!! I mean PEACH FUZ!! I was so upset . A few days later I noted My puppy was coughing and sneezing , My husband too My puppy to Banfield were he was diagnosed with an upper respiratory infection, (kennel cough) My puppy isn't around any other dogs. I'm livid , I call Petsmart and speak to a Manager my the name of MARTY, I explain my dissatisfaction and I ask him how often the kennels are cleaned out and he adamantly tells me they're sanitized every night , I said "Just every night " he says "Yes so maybe when you brought My puppy in it was during the day time and he could have gotten it from a dog who was in the same kennel the previous infected dog was in" (mistake) After I gave him a piece of my mind and schooled him on sanitation (kennels should be cleaned after each use ) All Marty had to say about his sorry lazy NASTY groomers was "I'm sorry you feel that way have a good day" and he hung up in my face!!!
