Great falafel with hummus sandwich. My official Rehoboth Beach sandwich of the summer.
I had a craving for a falafel and hummus sandwich, and had to decide between Semra's (a larger, more established Mediterranean restaurant) and here. I chose RB Kabab & Grill. I was not disappointed. The falafel was fresh and crispy. The pita was warm and delicious. The pita had a smear of falafel along with fresh lettuce, tomatoes, onions, cucumber and tzatziki (spelling?) sauce. The three crispy falafel balls rested on top, and the pita and fillings were rolled into a wrap.
This is my favorite sandwich for the summer. I'm not a vegetarian, but this hit the spot. I did add some hot sauce to add to the flavors.
I look forward to trying their other items. Another patron awaiting his order said, "This place is the best and has freshest ingredients and taste." He highly recommended the grape leave wraps.

Read moreWe stopped in during the last weekend of Sept, so it's definitely the offseason, but we were in Rehobeth and looking for a fun lunch spot. The food was okay. My wife & I shared a Maza appetizer, and each had a sandwich (one gyro and one falafel). It's not that it was bad food - it was just lacking flavor - it was bland. We've had much better hummus, babaganouch (not spelled right) stuffed grape leaves, falafel & gyro before, and while the food was okay - it was nothing to rave about. The service was minimal - order at the cash register, prepay your bill, and go sit down. The ambiance is lacking - it's a little storefront with minimal decorating. Beverage cooler running in the middle of the dining area. Prices are definitely beach pricing - really high compared to what we are used to paying closer to home. Next time we are in Rehobeth, we'll try a different place because this one is not worth going...
Read moreI was so worried when we walked in and the dining room was tiny, completely empty, and a sign that says order at register. The gentleman that came out to greet us and take our order was so kind and patient. We ordered the hummus, tzatziki, grape leaves as appetizers. I got the seafood (shrimp) kabob entree and my boyfriend got the lamb kabab entree. The appetizers came out and my worries went out the door. I could have just sat there and ate the grape leaves all night. My boyfriend wanted to bath in the tzatziki..lol. When our entrees came out we were already getting full but they looked so good we had to continue eating. The entrees included a fresh salad, a kabob of fresh vegetables, and very yummy rice. The shrimp looked plain and then you stuck it in your mouth and the taste was incredible. The lamb was very good too! We will definitely...
