The website is outdated, the "nightly" section says Friday's are AYCD well 9:30-11:30 for $10. They bartender was offended I asked about it. Said it is NOT a thing. (Tall man bun bartender) That's fine I get when owners check out and nobody manages the website. Okay, so I order a beer, he was so rude, and short 1 word answers. Fast forward to people showing up. The bridal shower, and grooms night show up together, I wait in line for a beer and am ignored by both bartenders now. While the lady and the man bartender flirt with the girls asking for water. I wait a few minutes more when these bridal parties show up, I'm skipped over for a drink, and all of them are served, I make eye contact and try to order from the man bun bartender, he makes direct contact and then walks away. I've had 3 beers 2.5 hours. This is not a gay bar, it's a straight bar with a few queer people. The bartender treats the gay guys like he's superior and spends too much time flirting with girls who aren't paying or tipping. I have been coming to this bar to years. It used to be so much better. Avoid this bar, it false advertises their specials, has rude staff, and mostly straight girls.
Side note, security is extremely nice. It's too bad the service industry folk (bartenders) are not nice, and they...
Read moreNot many people, I'm assuming it's just because we were there quite early, 9-10pm. Since they were slow the host let us in for free (host and bouncer was super sweet in general). My partner and I sat at the bar, and a security guard and bartender were both on the server side. As we were still not sure what to order the security guard recommended a breakfast shot (I believe it was an irish breakfast, it's supposed to taste like pancakes). We agreed that we would like that shot and we waited for the bartender. However, both the security guard and bartender stepped away for a few minutes so we couldn't confirm if it was going to be made as it had been a while. Once they both came back the security guard asked how the shots were and we declared that we never received them. The bartender exclaimed that we never confirmed we wanted the shots and that my partner was lying. I couldn't believe the audacity this man had. Customer service? Despite that, we ordered one shot and one drink. My partner tipped well and we decided that the bartenders behaviour was enough to deter us from staying. If he had just apologized and made the drink, we definitely...
Read moreI never leave reviews, but my experience here was so bad I feel the need to inform the public.
I went here and was waiting in line. I saw a younger gentleman get thrown out, which happens sometimes, but it gets worse. The security guard not only beat, but also enticed bystanders to beat up the individual outside of the bar, to which more people joined in on unleashing on this guy. He then threatened a small girl (who came in with him) and told her she'd be next (to get beat up) if she didn't leave.
The security guard explained himself and said that the young man had flipped him off.
So in short, the security guards here do not know how to do their jobs. What they do have is huge egos and will not hesitate to let their built up, peaked in high-school anger out on you. This is not a safe place for anyone, which is sad as this is an LGBTQ+ bar as well, where I would imagine there should be more employee screening to protect against...
