I took my elderly handicapped parents to eat there. We were seated by an unfriendly waitress. We waited a long time for menus. When she finally came to take our orders she had a sour look on her face. She ran off before we could finish ordering, so we never got to order sodas or water.
She brought the food without a word and then disappeared. The restaurant was not busy, but I had to hunt her down for the bill and again for to-go boxes. I paid the bill using a credit card and did not leave a tip on the card. I always leave cash at the table so the waitress is less likely to be taxed on that tip. During our meal, my father commented that he likes to tip more when someone is having an obviously bad day.
When it was time to leave, my mom and I were standing, waiting for dad, who was trying to scoot out of the big booth. He was going to get his wallet out of his back pocket and leave cash for a tip. That waitress came over with the credit card receipt demanding to know where her tip was. I told her I leave cash at the table. She yelled, "I see NO TIP on the table!" and stormed off. My father says "That's something I have never seen before." Thankfully, my parents have a sense of humor.
As we were slowly making our way to the door, both parents using walkers, the waitress came back yelling at me, with the entire restaurant watching, and called me a liar. I told her now she was getting the tip she deserved.
We got to the car only to find we had lost my mother. I had to go back in to make sure she hadn't fallen in the bathroom. The waitress met me at the door, now yelling at me in front of all the people waiting for to go orders. This time she called me a "NO TIP LIAR" and said we could never go back there.
The food was excellent.
My father laughed all the way back to Oregon. I later found out the waitress...

Read moreSubpar food, horrible service. A friend of mine called to make an order for her and her husband, as well as me and my girlfriend and two children that all live together. Initially she was met like any other takeout call, but had forgotten to mention that one of the kids as well as herself have severe nut allergies. She called back to inform them real quick, and the person on the phone argued that our order had no nuts in anything anyway, which is fine but it usually is cooked with everything else on the same stoves. The child is under 3 and it is a life threatening allergic reaction. The man continued to argue for about 30 seconds and proceeded to cancel the order altogether and hang up. My girlfriend called back to try again, and asked for a manager straight off, to which she was informed by the same man that he was indeed the manager. After that, he proceeded to ask very rudely about if she was calling about the nut allergy again. We did end up still getting our order despite the conflict, but I would highly not recommend going here or even ordering takeout. The food itself wasn't even the greatest in the area anyway, paired with particularly horrible service makes it pretty clear why. Also, both phone interactions happened...
