Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Rockport

Hey Sonic, where is the "chili" on your footlong chili dog? They use to be loaded with chili. This thing has barely a teaspoon of it over the whole thing. Sad. Use to have to eat it with a fork because it would be too messy and full of chili to pick up. No fork needed now. Didn't even need a napkin for that dry thing. Cardboard boat it comes in is clean and white after eating. Literally barely a teaspoon over entire thing. Never again. Wow, was just sitting here reading all the reviews for this sonic and most seem to be bad. Wish I would have read them BEFORE I ordered food here. Let this be a lesson when you read these reviews. Just don't go. When they start losing money maybe the owners will start questioning things. No wonder there was only 3 or 4 cars there at 6:00 in the evening. All they do is reply with automated responses to escalate your complaint by calling a 1-800 # or online. People don't have time to do that dumb stuff. Do your JOBS!! How about that!?

Typical usual automated response! No sir, I will not call your 1-800 # and spend 30 minutes talking to a computer or waste my time going online for something that nothing will be done about. I have a better idea. I just won't go back to your sonic and spend money. If everyone does the same maybe y'all will clean up your acts! Update. 9/14/23. Decided to give them another chance. It was their last chance!! Chili dog still had hardly no chili. Only sonic I've ever seen do that. Ordered two of them and almost no chili. A teaspoon dabbed right in the middle. No fork, no napkins, not even the traditional peppermint. Skip this...

I only got the single burger meal. The tots were old and half were over cooked hard! Then there is the drink. It was completely packed with ice! I know I didn't ask for easy ice this time but come on. A drink should have a drink in it and not be gone after the first sip out of a straw! Then the burger...probably one of the worst I ate ever. I threw it away after trying to eat a quarter of it. Not sure what was going on there but it tasted horrible and didn't have cheese. The other worst part, I got it to go and when I got home, which is about a 8 minute drive, my bun was completely soggy! It was just mush! Other fast food burger places do not have that problem so not sure why you guys do! You should look into it. I also put in my mobile order i wanted ketchup packets..i asked the lady if there were any in there. She snapped back at me that she didn't know. Maybe you should make sure the order is right and what you are bringing out. Not expecting the best customer service at fast food places but come on. That's literally your business. I will not be going to that location again. Probably never order food from you all again. It never comes out tasting good and/or is right. Even drinks! I usually ask for easy ice to avoid all the packed ice you put into your drinks, and yet you all still pack it. I usually have to come back to get it right. My time is valuable. As well as ordering a product and expecting it to meet a minimum...

First I am a Sonic fan! I love the chili dogs,onion rings,tots and almost every drink made. But this Sonic in Rockport does not meet even minimum standards found in most other Sonics. Repeated visits shows me this is the norm not just a bad day. Cold hotdogs, cold tots and buns on my chili dogs hard and crumbing. My cherry lime drink even was undrinkable. Shame on me for stopping for food when just about the same performance was found on my last two visits prior to last night. But I love Sonic so here is review for all to see. This Sonic needs quality control management on food production. Yes when I first complained of cold tots they remade them - hot but way undercooked- then first bite of cold hotdog with a crunchy bun turned my hunger to anger! $18.00 for 2 cold dogs, cold tots, onion rings(hot and good thank God I ordered a medium because that was my dinner) a bad tasting large cherry limeade and a small shake. I ate rings and wife had a shake for dinner. I feel cheated last night and for all my past visits in the last 2 years living in Rockport. This Sonic is one corporate should investigate for substandard food to save the brand from loss...
