I went with a party of 5, the Teppanyaki/ hibachi was delicious and very entertaining. We had soft shell crab as an appetizer which was pretty damn good. We had hibachi scallops, steak, and shrimp. We all tasted each other's dishes, the massive shrimp were cooked well and very fresh tasting, they were very clean and deveined well. The scallops were cooked to perfection, very, very fresh tasting, very clean, colossal sized, and succulent. The steak was a bit tough, especially for a medium steak, but it was still delicious. The Japanese style fried rice and noodles were delicious, as were the vegetables. Vegetables were not overcooked but crisp how they should be. With the addition of a dip in the ginger sauce, they were very good. The cook was funny and entertaining and watching the food get cooked and 🔥 🔥 🔥 in front of me it felt very primal and mouth watering. My 7 year old grandson loved the dressing on the salad ( we all did). I'm not sure what it was, but he ate all of it, and salad is not a thing he usually likes. It was my daughters birthday, and they sang a song for her with a drum and also the Happy Birthday song, which I thought was a nice touch. She's grown, but she still got to wear a paper crown and enjoy herself thoroughly. She also was given a complimentary slice of cheesecake, which was very sweet of them. The service was excellent. When we were done with plates, they cleared them from the table pretty fast, so there weren't dishes stacking up. I love that. It was a very courteous, friendly, clean, and energetic, and fun atmosphere. We all loved those smiles and that energy! I read in the reviews that someone complained that they got containers to-go before they were done eating, but I actually liked the containers coming when they did, because there was no way we were gonna finish those massive portions. And I was like "oh thank God, there's containers for all this." Bathrooms were the cleanest I've seen all year anywhere. Yes, it's a little loud, but it's supposed to be, it's fun. The food is pretty good, the ambiance is great, and I'm certainly going back.
Yes, the tip is included, but still, tip the cook. What he does not everyone can do.
Thank you, everyone there, for making my daughters birthday a...

After waiting an hour to be seated, we were invited to sit at a hibachi grill in the center of the room. This grill was attached to another grill because the table wrapped around the two of them. The other grill had just been used and was still dirty from the guests that had just left. When we were seated they asked us if we were ok with sitting in between both of the grills. I wasn't too happy about this because it placed us with a back view of the chief. When we asked if we could wait for the next available grill they told us that we would be put back at the bottom of the waiting list. So, we agreed to sit there because we had already waited for so long.
One of the parties at our table was still waiting for more guests to arrive (even though the sign at the front of the restaurant says your whole party must be present before you are seated). I listened as the people at my table asked the staff if they could wait a little while longer before getting started for rest of their party to arrive. The staff agreed. The rest of their party arrived just as we were ordering. They went back and forth with the hostess because they had more people show up than the hostess expected. The hostess then asked us to move further down to accommodate the extra people. I had a problem with this because moving down more seats meant that we were totally pushed down to side with the other dirty grill with dirty tables. Again, we asked to be placed at another table and the host said we would be placed at the end of the list. I asked speak with a manager and was told that no manager was there. At that point, I no longer want to spend my money there, so we just left.
I felt that the staff was very unprofessional and did not honor their own policy. They don't care about delivering quality customer service. They only care about big parties because that equals big checks. I had a very unpleasant experience and...
Read moreWorst restaurant experience I have ever had. My partner and I were there for dinner wanting to try out a new restaurant and have been told this place isn't half bad. We didn't want to wait for the hibachi grill and got a table which was the biggest mistake. We sat down and greeted by our server ordered our drinks. The drinks were so unbelievably bad. It wasn't that they were just heavy on the alcohol it tasted like the bartender had no idea what they were doing. Lemon drop martini was ordered by my partner and it tasted like febreze, and myself ordered a Mai Tai and it too just tasted like straight chemicals. We ordered sushi which wasn't half bad, have had much better, but it wasn't bad. Our dinner came out about 3 minutes after our appetizer was put down. We thought that was a bit weird and rude, but we brushed everything off until dinner. My partner being a bit more forgiving had raw chicken cooked and checked the rest of their meal with it being only one piece of their orange chicken. I ordered the General Tso's chicken and multiple pieces were raw. Server came by asked how it was going showing her and then she said the manager was going to look over it. Never heard from the manager was just given another dinner plate of it and it was still raw. I strongly recommend going to the hibachi bar as it might be a much better experience than the dining side of the restaurant.
TLDR: The kitchen has no idea how to properly cook chicken as you get raw chicken 3 times in a row, the bar tender does not know how to properly make drinks, and the manager who supposedly looked over my food did nothing to reconcile the situation (if the waitress even showed the manager).
Overall one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. Just went home and made pasta for us after an extremely disappointing $75 dollars...
