La Bou — Restaurant in Sacramento

This is one of the most disappointing la bou location In Sacramento their dill dip taste like nothing but mayonnaise. My Baguette bread was hard. I’m wondering if they gave me old bread from early in the morning or from the day before but either way it is unacceptable and annoying to have to ask for something fresh. I did not go into the store. I ordered off of DoorDash, but this is not the first time that I have had this happen with my order where the dill dip taste like mayonnaise doesn’t even taste like dill at all. And the baguette bread is always hard. I’ve been to the one off of Madison that one always is amazing and I’ve also been to the one off of Howe Avenue. La Bou is clean and the staff welcoming. I had a half Caesar salad, water and a cookie. There may have been a misunderstanding as a large salad arrived. I asked if it was the half and was told yes. Looked at my receipt and realized I had been charged for a whole salad. Portions are large! Staff corrected the error quickly. My cookie was also excellent. I arrived too late for baked goods and was told they sell out quickly so I’ll go back another time....

DELICIOUS! Rio was checking us out and she was very patient, kind and easy to talk to! New bread on mondays, new cupcake on wednesdays and new donuts on fridays.
