If I could've give more than 5 stars, I would. There was absolutely nothing wrong about this spot. I've been meaning to come here for one thing, and one thing only, chicken Parm sandwich. I finally got the chance to go the other day for the first time ever and I was in love. You walk in and are greeted politely by the workers. Very friendly staff, I even forgot to remove something from my sandwich, and they were happy to help with my accomdation. The chicken Parm was by far the best I've had in Sacramento. I know I will be telling everyone about this spot. One thing I do regret is for taking so long to come out to this spot since they've been here for decades on top of decades. I promise you, anything you get from here, you will not be disappointed. I believe I saw the owner there, but he seemed really busy, and I did not want to disturb him. But the next time I see him, definitely getting a picture...

Sampino's is a absolute gem hidden in Downtown Sacramento. Aside from being one of the best restaurants in Sac Town, it is a great place to take a date because the food is amazing and it is very affordable. Quiet and somewhat romantic atmosphere. Sampino's is an Italian Deli and has the best sandwiches. Really try the Sampino's house sandwich. It's hearty and delicious. But also save room to try fresh pasta from their Deli display. The lasagna is to die for! The egg plant parmesan for vegetarians are delicious too. I love everything here. Also, a less known fact about Sampino's is that on Fridays, they close a little early and become a fine dining restaurant at 5. It's Hella delicious. You got to call ahead for reservations though!
