A Heavenly Coffee Experience at World Traveler Coffee Roasters!
Rating: 5/5 Stars
I recently stumbled upon World Traveler Coffee Roasters in Downtown Plaza, Sacramento, and I'm so glad I did! This charming coffee haven has stolen my heart with its exquisite esthetics, elegant pastries, and exceptional service.
The Matcha green tea was a revelation - expertly prepared and presented with love. The pastry selection was impressive, with creative twists on classic treats. I indulged in a delicious muffin that paired perfectly with my tea.
The drink menu is extensive and innovative, with something for every taste. Chris, the cashier and barista, was knowledgeable and friendly, helping me navigate the options. Chloe, who served me, was equally delightful, and Cleo, one of the managers, ensured everything ran smoothly.
The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it perfect for a relaxing break or a casual meetup. World Traveler Coffee Roasters has become my new favorite destination in Sacramento. Don't miss out on this...
Read moreIâm someone that normally tips and enjoys being pleasant to service industry staff. However, today I walked in to this location and was greeted by a Zombie. Actually there was no greeting at all. The individual working at the register had a look of dread on their face. Like they hated me and they hated being here. I felt really uncomfortable and the strong negative energy was just emanating from them. I didnât feel welcome at all and normally coffee shops take even a second to greet and smile. No smile no greeting, just dead, negative energy.
Note to Management: if your employees canât bother to even greet the customers or even crack half a smile, ask them to stay home. I understand life can suck sometimes and service industry jobs are not easy but please donât take it out on the customers. I normally tip at this location but because the lack of greeting, positivity, and zero customer service put me in a gloomy mood, I didnât feel...

I walked in wanting a simple Americano. Before I could even blink, the barista launched into an unsolicited rant about âEuropean vs. Americanâ coffee styles, complete with the tone of someone explaining art history to a brick wall. Iâve heard baristas can be pretentious, but this was my first time encountering one in the wild.
When I got my drink, she rolled her eyes like handing it over was beneath her. The drink itself was fine... not life-changing, not worth the lecture... but the aftertaste of snobbery really lingered.
If youâve ever dreamed of being humbled by someone wielding a milk frother like a royal scepter, this is your place. Otherwise, go somewhere that serves coffee without the side of...
