Pros: excellent coffee. ambiance is fun, gives this place some fun character. Everything from decor to dishware is spot on live music added a fun background to the experience vegan breakfast burrito was pretty good, a little less salt would have made it excellent staff were friendly and responsive to issues we encountered service was timely.
Cons: we were looking for vegan options so it was a little disappointing that they were out of so many of their vegan options. Our first choice for food was the vegan parfait. Unfortunately they weren't serving it today. They also didn't have their vegan cake option today (which was ok, because we weren't going to order cake anyway, but were excited to see what it looked like for next time). the coffee cake we ordered was waaaay too sweet. It was like eating a snickers bar for breakfast. Neither of us finished ours. Simply inedible unless you like copious amounts of sugar, I'd steer clear of these. the breakfast bowl said it came with vegan coconut bacon, but ours was served without it. When we asked about it, we were told they were out of it today. Understandable, but really should have communicated this to us while ordering or at least before serving. Was disappointing to discover a key element of our meal missing while we were eating it. after we asked,, staff offered vegan sausage as a replacement to the missing vegan bacon. When it arrived, one of the sausages was missing a pretty good sized chunk. It looked like someone had taken a bite out of it. when we brought this to the staff attention, they apologized and replaced our sausages however the new ones they brought out were very over cooked. They had a texture more like jerky than sausage. The sausage in the breakfast burrito were excellent so not sure what happened to these ones but they were unfortunately inedible. Vegan sausages don't need to be cooked the same as normal sausage. Hopefully something the kitchen can improve...
Read moreTLDR; I really wanted to like Café FeelLove, it’s a really cute spot with great music and has an overall good vibe. However they rely too much on their trendy appeal instead of delivering thoughtful, well-made quality food and drinks.
The tapas menu was short and sweet and their cocktail and wine menu was extensive. Their cocktails had about ~5 ingredients each which was intriguing to me and I was pretty excited (I ordered the French 77) however when I got the beverage, I only tasted two of the ingredients so it felt like they could’ve made it with less and it would’ve tasted the exact same, it was a bit of a bummer. Onto the food- the charcuterie board was pretty standard and good, however the cured meat looked like it was just taken out of a container instead of the staff putting in the effort to cut into smaller, bite-sized pieces. The avocado salad was quite good, I really liked the lemon flavor with the avocado. That was the star of the meal. The last thing we ordered was the truffle mac and cheese with chicken. It appeared one of the wait staff brought out the food to the incorrect table (totally happens, I understand). Our waitress explained what happened and it wasn’t an issue at all. The mac and cheese though was quite disappointing, the truffle flavor was nonexistent and they ran out of chicken (again totally understandable), but they could’ve compensated with more bacon- it seemed like the staff lacked maturity in how to handle the situation of our food first being given to the wrong table and then running out of an ingredient. Overall it was so so, and the wait staff could use more training. I think if this place wants to be successful and scalable for the long term, they should cut back and focus on building a stronger foundation- based on their website and reviews, that seems to be their coffees/teas and...
Read moreIf you find yourself in St. George and craving a taste of home-away-from-home goodness, Cafe Feellove is your absolute go-to. During my recent work travels, I relied on Uber Eats to bring me the flavors of this charming cafe not once, not twice, but three times — and each experience was simply outstanding.
Let's start with breakfast: their Breakfast Burrito was a hearty delight, filled with savory goodness that hit the spot just right. But what truly stole my heart was their Greek Yogurt Parfait. I dare say it's the best I've ever had — fresh, creamy yogurt layered with perfectly ripe fruits and just the right amount of crunchy granola. It was a breakfast dream come true.
Now, coffee aficionados, listen up: their Buddy Holly (iced mocha) was a revelation. Smooth, chocolatey, with that perfect coffee kick — it made each morning feel brighter.
Their Avocado Toast deserves a standing ovation. Served on homemade sourdough bread, the avocado was generously seasoned and enhanced with a hint of lemon, creating a symphony of flavors that left me craving more with every bite.
For lunch, I opted for the St Laurent Sandwich, and oh boy, was it a winner. Healthy and delicious don't always go hand in hand, but here they certainly do. Fresh ingredients packed between artisanal bread made for a satisfying midday treat.
Beyond the exceptional food, I must commend Cafe Feellove for their attention to detail. Every order arrived impeccably packaged, complete with utensils, ensuring a seamless dining experience.
In a world where good, homemade food is a treasure, Cafe Feellove shines brightly. They've nailed the balance between wholesome ingredients and incredible flavors, and for that, I'm truly grateful. Whether you're a local or just passing through, do yourself a favor and indulge at Cafe Feellove. I can't...
