Forever Young is by far the best jewlers in town!! They are so responsive, trustworthy, personable and just overall amazing people who are good to their customer's.
I can’t even tell you how impressed I was when I called one day, asking about something, and Mike immediately knew who I was! He remembered a few days or a week prior when I had been in the store looking at a band, and had asked him a question. He was just so friendly and took me totally by surprise, calling me by name saying, “Oh! This must be Erica!” Haha.
Not only did he answer my question that day, but he worked to get my ring soldered together during Christmas craziness, just because he knew how excited I was about it.
Oh! And another lady there left such an impression on me because I was searching for a wedding band to go with my ring and even though I looked at a couple different ones I liked, and one was quite a bit more expensive, she could see that I favored the other and was so honest and trustworthy and gave me her opinion that the other looked best with my ring because of its simplicity, even when she could have tried to upsell me. I knew in that moment I would never go anywhere else. They actually care about their customers. So impressive and a breath of fresh air.
I can’t even begin to express how happy my husband and I have been with them over the years. I recommend them...
Read moreBe warned if you take gold or white gold or platinum in because you want to sell it out because you're not using it anymore (my parents have been long-time customers there and raved about them until this) they do not accurately weigh it and underestimate the weight amounts on every single item. This will shortchange you on the overall buyout amount.
I buy and sell a lot of my own jewelry and I have three different very accurate jewelry weight scales. Thank goodness my parents did not take their offer, because I compared every item they estimated the weight on and then weighed on my three different scales (all of my high-end scales are three different brands) and each were exactly the same.
I estimated they would have shortchanged my parents about an 1.5 oz. That's not exactly chump change when you consider the price of gold.
Also my parents stopped going there because they took jewelry in to be replaced or repaired, including a watch that they had for weeks and weeks claiming they were waiting for the parts. They brought it home and it immediately fell apart. So this may be a family business that's been around in St George for a long time and their customers trust them. I guess it took an outsider with all the evidence to question their practices. Be warned just because they're friendly doesn't mean they're not a business and they're not...
Read moreI came in to get my watch sized correctly. After they resized it they offered back the watch and the extra links and started wrapping up the transaction. One of the other team members then came up and let them know that there were still parts from my watch in the back. They then took back my watch and the bag of extra links; It sounded like they didn’t know about the end caps for the rod that secures the links together. After a few minutes they came back and gave me my watch and all of the extra parts; the resize was $15. Since then the little rods have been sliding loose/ out of the links by as much as 2mm. It also looks like some of the rods are missing their end caps which explains the sliding. If the other employee didn’t notice the extra parts in the back I’m not sure if they would have been returned to me. I’m also not sure if this resize was done correctly because of the loose link rods. It could be they were unfamiliar with the brand of watch; it was Seiko, a Japanese brand. If so I wish they would have refused the resize instead of offer a subpar job.
Images attached: The rods have been labeled 1-8. I believe rods 1, 2, 4, and 5 have been left alone. I have had sliding issues with rods 3, 6, and 7. An example of the rod and end cap are...
