Was super excited for this place, especially after seeing all the positive reviews and so we finally made the trip to come try it today and it was unfortunately a huge letdown!☹️. The Spanish lady who was working didn’t even acknowledge us nor was she very friendly when she came over (she was on her earpiece talking on the phone to someone the whole time), and we were kind of taken aback by all the options and how expensive everything was but we didn’t want to ask questions and bother her so we just ordered what sounded good and sat down.

It wasn’t busy, there were only two other groups (of loud and obnoxious teenagers) but other than that it was a fairly nice atmosphere although the seats aren’t very comfortable to sit in and the tables fairly small but luckily the food came fairly quickly which was nice and we were so excited to dig in because it looked and smelled so good! We did end up getting a lot of food each which was kind of annoying and I guess justified the high price for a small but would’ve preferred less food for a cheaper price especially because to our dismay, the food ended up not being very good at all.

The churros were just dusted with sugar which is odd because every churro I’ve ever had in existence (and I’ve had my fair share) has had cinnamon and sugar, so it ended up being very bland and plain. And the Dulce De Leche, shouldn’t even be called that honestly as it was like a pâté and tasted horrible. The chocolate also had a weird texture and consistency as well so I’m not really sure what was going on or why there are so many positive reviews. It definitely wasn’t worth $22 for two small orders of churros in my opinion that’s for sure when there are much better places...

Not my cup of tea…

A beautiful place and was wondering about the hype!. I went 1 day before today and was basically not helped for some reason… waited another 10 mins and others were helped before me… which was very upsetting. I really wanted to try their churros so I came back to try it. Ordered online this time to make sure I got something. Came to pick up my order and has to wait a bit - doesn’t bother me because I LOVE FRESH HOT ITEMS! Who doesn’t love things fresh out the fryer 😁

Got the Nutella Churros - they were cold - felt like they had it sitting for awhile and needed to give it out. It was very hard to eat and I was so sad about it as I was ready for a warm delicious treat… maybe you should ask for fresh ones (which I thought was something that would be known as it’s churros)… also got their Oreo milkshake - which was alright… Got the mango peach splash drink - Mine was warm… which was weird as it had ice?? But it was yummy just wished it was a colder beverage. All in all my personal experience wasn’t the best with these items.

Maybe trying their crepes or other specialty items they have would be good. But as of my experience these items they...

Went to Franco’s churro house just a few days ago with my sister and we had such a wonderful experience! It’s a unique churro and crepe shop and I loved the way it looked inside too. The staff were really nice and the crepes were so incredibly delicious. These are literally the best crepes we’ve ever had. We tried the savory turkey bacon avocado crepe, Italian meat and Caprese crepe and it did not disappoint. I ordered the churro coconut milkshake and the presentation was great. For the sweet crepe, I ordered the special churro crêpe because you get the best of both worlds with some churros and a crêpe. Lastly, ordered a container of alfajores which is a Venezuelan cookie. That was also very yummy! Everything was just so visually appealing, we couldn’t resist and ordered a lot. There wasn’t anything we didn’t like. The portion for the crepes was also a decent size which could easily be shared by 2 people, so we had a lot of leftovers which I love. Highly recommend Franco’s Churro House; you won’t be disappointed! Thanks so much for the...

Drove across the valley to Franco’s since it was one of three churro places open on a Sunday and was sorely disappointed. Churros is one of my favorite desserts and I had high hopes but it just did not deliver. Ordered savory crepes to try them out as well and the ham and cheese was super dry, cheese was not melted- it was a cold crepe that lacked flavor. A little salt and pepper would’ve went a long way here. The Chicken Alfredo crepe tasted a little better but not by much. It did not taste fresh at all. It tasted like it was reheated and then put inside a crepe. The churros themselves were some of the worst I’ve ever had. They needed more cinnamon and sugar and less time in the fryer. Horchata we ordered was undrinkable. It was really bad. I really wanted to like this place but wow, what a disappointment. The customer service was good though.

Though I can't speak for the authenticity of a churreria opening late, I can say it seems a bit odd for a breakfast/brunch spot in SLC to open at 10AM. Most people think of crepes as breakfast food so I feel like this place is missing out on a good share of the market. That said, we had a good lunch here. The service was friendly and the small shop was clean. Our food was out quickly but was served on paper plates. It felt like a bit of a let down for such well-plated food. They have a number of sweet and savory crepes, churros, and other options. Prices were fine. We opted for the strawberry lover churros and the Franco's Italian meats savory crepe. The churros were tasty but crunchy. The crepe was divine. I would happily return to try more options.
