I don’t understand how London Belle is anything short of 5 starts. From beginning to end it was a great experience. Our server, Jack, was knowledgeable, attentive but not overbearing, the food was nothing short of delicious, perfectly made old fashion....I could go on and on. We had the smoked salmon “nachos”, ceviche, short ribs, and salmon sandwich. The balance of flavors and textures was perfect. If I had to critique anything at all it would be that the ceviche and smoked salmon nachos were a little difficult to eat. The ceviche was served over a bed of arugula which made it difficult to get the ceviche into the spoon and it needed a little more moisture to stay on the chips....still the flavor was amazing. My favorite thing of the meal was the smoked salmon nachos which had a perfect balance of sweet and savory. The dill lemon yogurt, tomato and onion jam, goat cheese, fried wonton wrapper, smoked salmon, and if I remember correctly the Persian cucumber all married together PERFECTLY. Between their amazing flavors and textures it was magnificent, the only struggle was that my first bight pulled all the toppings off (maybe smaller cuts for the salmon). The short ribs were cooked to perfection, they were so tender. I did not have much of this as I had to fight my wife to get a bite. The sauce was also very well balanced, broccolini was great, and the mashed potatoes were silky smooth. I had the salmon BLT not much I can say outside of perfectly done. I’m looking forward to working our way through the...

Loved the backstory of the location, had a ton of fun there on a girl's trip with friends. I think out of all the restaurants we went to, this one was our favorite!!
Drinks were awesome, bartender was great at making recommendations as well!! Love the play on words on some of the drinks, like the Rye'n Gosling!
But the real superstar of the night was the food......
You know those restaurants you go to where you have something SO GOOD that you can remember it weeks / months / years later because it was just THAT GOOD???
THAT was London Belle.
The duck confit frites (also known as duck fries for the Americans) were OH. MY. GODDDDD TO DIE FOR (totes still dreaming about those weeks later)!!! Can't even begin to describe the savory, buttery, cheesy goodness. They were one of the top appetizers I've had in my life. That kinda good.
DEFINITELY recommend the Sloppy Joe's - I hadn't even glanced at the description of it on the menu when I asked our bartender what it was.... Like me, he's from the West Coast Never knew there was an East Coast version!! Pork belly pastrami (house made), absolutely to die for!!!
Just make sure to wipe the drool off ya chin before you go. It's not a good look.
Will be back when I...
Read moreBeen here twice, the first time in January 2025 and recently in April. We always try to beat the dinner rush and we never stay long enough to listen to the DJ set.
January had Fish & Chips on the menu and I read there was a kitchen staff change -- I'm not sure whether the ownership changed or not, but the food was still delicious. We ordered The London, a 10 oz ribeye steak with mashed potatoes. The first time we ordered The London, it was served with asparagus, the second time was served with broccoli. We tried the Miso Fried Chicken the first time around and it was pretty good, 4/5. Chicken was juicy, not dry. We also ordered an appetizer, a duck poutine (?) which they no longer serve. I tried with Twice Cooked Pork Belly, which was really good. Pork was not dry, the shave cucumber salad was oddly addicting and added a nice flavor profile to the pork, and the garlic rice was slightly crunchy as if it was fried.
One thing that I didn't enjoy was that the seat (made of some sort of fabric material?) smelled a bit like urine. Of course, this is technically a bar, so I understand "mishaps" happen, but I definitely did not want to smell that while eating dinner. I ultimately swapped seats before...
