The sporty girl behind the counter was chill at first, and made me a nice fruity drink, but as my man was outside on a phone call, and I went after him, he informed me that he gave her a $100 bill, and sent me in to get the change, and the owner was the one that gave me the change, and they shorted me $10, because I handed my man the money thinking they gave him back the right amount, but if drinks together were only $12, then why was there only $78, and not $88? I don't usually complain but the bartender said the owner was standing right there and they could verify well all the money was given back to me, when I asked about it, why couldn't they verify? My man knows I wouldn't take money from him, and the lady couldn't accept her mistake and give back the $10 she shorted him, what a B*h! My man is Mexican and works hard for his money, so any bartender should know that he tips ladies good, and he takes care of the people at the bars we go to, but I think since we weren't regulars and that lady didn't want to accept her mistake then trust and know that we won't be going back to that bar, due to the poor service that was given. I'm sorry I didn't count the change from the $100 dollar bill on the spot trusting they would give back the right amount of change they made me look bad, and offered poor service, so due to that we will not be attending that bar...
Read moreLast night was my first time going to this lounge, and honestly it was the worst customer service/atmosphere I have ever been in. The bartender with shoulder curly hair has the most disgusting attitude and presents herself very unprofessionally. The security who was dressed as a referee deserves a lawsuit for forcing us to open a bathroom stall, WHILE IT WAS BEING USED, for her to give us our tab (when there were two other people in our group out in the lounge who could’ve easily taken care of it). Those two ladies are so ugly inside and out and are a huge reason why I will never return here. To the owner, who was dressed as Hulk Hogan, you stood by and watched these people treat your customers this way and you didn’t care at all. As a general manager myself, you need to understand that this is the reason your lounge is empty on a Friday night. This business will not last another year before losing hundreds of thousands of dollars due to their lack of customer empathy and service. :) you guys are disgusting and...
Read moreThis bar was empty and the bouncer was smoking in our faces telling us unless we called ahead they wouldn’t let us in for a drink. Imagine that, calling ahead to go to an empty public bar. No special event, nothing preventing us from going in as individual customers to have a drink. It’s 8pm and a larger group of clearly sober folks are looking to celebrate our friends birthday with a drink at this bar, but the bouncer refused to even talk with us (too busy lighting up cigarette after cigarette) about why they wouldn’t let us in.
This place is classless. I hope the owner of this place is aware that their bouncers behavior is clearly affecting the ability of their bartenders to make great tips from good customers.
Every other bar downtown let us in with no issues. We visited almost 9 that night alone. If you’re interested I knowing great SLC bars, look basically anywhere else but here.
I recommend avoiding this bar at all costs. A holistically toxic detractor to the positively evolving...
