On Broadway Deli — Restaurant in Salt Lake City

Super friendly staff and convenient location. I came for the reuben and theirs was just alright. I like my deli meat on the drier side and theirs was a bit too hydrated for me (I might use the word "slimy" even). I came in around lunch time and, even though I was the only customer in the deli, it took about ten minutes to get my one sandwich because they were fulfilling doordash and other takeout orders. I say this not to complain, but to advise you that there may be a wait even if it doesn't seem busy. I was also bummed that the sandwich didn't come with anything on the side—not even a pickle wedge! Chips are available at an extra charge, but many delis throw in some original potato chips and a pickle wedge, so the sandwich-only doesn't make it seem like you're getting a lot...

Loved it. Then loved it less. Funny how much the people make a difference as to the experience of a place. I came here first alone and was served by a woman who was really cool. She made me one of the best sandwiches I've ever had! The whole box was full and the sandwich was loaded and gushing with ingredients in a beatiful form of order and chaos! So I came back to get 7 sandwiches for me and my crew. This time I was disappointed to see the rad lady wasn't there. Instead my my sandwiches were made by an older Asian gentlemen. I know he's a super nice guy, but his sandwiches won't give me any reason to come back here. They were plain and contained. Nothing special. Oh well, at least the universe granted me one taste of the greatest sandwich...

I ordered through delivery, and to be quite honest I have had some really poor meals lately with different establishments... but today I was so grateful for Broadway Deli ! oh my goodness such a tasty tasty club sandwich! it was absolutely one of the best things I've had in fast food in a long long time! and I was so grateful ! I was called by one of the workers at the deli because they were out of the cookies that I had ordered and he gave me a plethora of options and it was so kind of him and above and beyond to call and ask me what I would prefer I am so grateful and I would highly recommend Broadway Deli , like I said the sandwich I had was one of the best I've had in a long long time thank you so...
