Texan II — Restaurant in San Antonio

I’m putting 5 stars but with a bit of a warning. This is the bar for the disenfranchised. This is not a bar where you are going to get Michelin star service this is a bar where you go if you want to be surrounded by genuine people. Fair drink prices and heavy music. I am visiting for a work convention and i have been here both nights. I stayed. My first night i got to experience karaoke and people dry jumping the floor to the best of meatloaf I’d do anything for love and it was glorious. My second night is while I’m typing this and it was much more relaxed than the first night but people remembered me and people were super nice. I've always like the Texan. I stopped by today after not going for a long time the whole bunch of new different faces. I may have only seen one face that was kind of familiar. Anyway I ordered a vodka and Redbull. Because thats the drink I always get. I got carded as soon as I walked in the door which is cool but they were on me like flies on a shih tzus I walked in. I am from Austin and I was visiting San Antonio for the night. We had drinks here to watch the game and when I tabbed out, I paid cash and the bartender forgot to give my back my credit card.
