Baja Rick’s Cantina is one of those hidden gems that’s incredibly convenient, especially if you’re heading to a Padres game or downtown San Diego. It’s located right next to the trolley station, which makes it super easy to stop by for food or drinks before or after an event. The location alone is hard to beat. you can park once, grab a bite, and then walk right over to Petco Park or hop on the trolley.

The only reason why I didn't give it five stars is because of the price. Almost $20 for a burrito. It was a decent size. I ate half of it and took the rest with me to go to eat at the game later.I got the California burrito which I never ordered California burritos but it was either that or shrimp or fish. It was delicious! I'm very picky about the quality of meat and it was very lean no fat or gristle whatsoever. 👍 I thought the flavor was good just a hint of heat. It was our first time there. We also enjoyed a guy playing the guitar. It's very conveniently located when you take the trolley downtown Right next to the ballpark. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There was some kind of little girls dance competition or something So it was completely packed We had to stand in order to eat our food but it was a beautiful day so we didn't mind.
