Absolutely loved turning the corner from the beach and finding this place. I was exploring the area, peaking at Gopher Town, and saw their cozy patio with a touch screen to order. I was already sold by the looks of the place, but the photos of their food on the menu really had me excited. I'm a big fan of Vietnamese iced coffee and was thrilled to see it on the menu. The friendly face of the man I recieved my coffee from made my whole day especially after he followed up to see how I was liking it. This place might have altered my plans for the whole weekend. I was skeptical about the Chipotle hollandaise but couldn't imagine the patch hash any other way.

Edit: this indeed changed my plans. I visited an additional 3 times. The BAT benedict checks all my boxes for a delicious breakfast. Grilled tomato, thick bacon, that Chipotle hollandaise 🤤 i can be pretty particular when I comes to trying new foods with ingredients I've convinced myself I don't like but they fully came through with my requests. Avocado on the side and half and half sauce so I can try it all. Gave me confidence in returning knowing I'd...

Benedict’s Food Truck is an absolute gem in Ocean Beach! Parking is very limited however, it’s a stone’s throw away from OB dog beach. From the moment I walked up, the vibe was friendly, the service was fast, and the food? Next-level delicious. I ordered their version of the breakfast burrito and was blown away—the green sauce was creamy and rich, the eggs were perfectly cooked, and the sausage and potatoes had just the right amount. I asked for the chipotle sauce which was a hit and it comes with more green sauce and salsa— so delicious!!!🤤 they have a nice size patio deck seating with some that is covered.

They’ve got a creative menu with fun twists on brunch favorites—don’t skip the Cali Benedict with avocado and bacon or the crab cake version if you’re feeling fancy. Portions are generous, ingredients are fresh, and everything is made to order. They also have espresso drinks, orange juice and coffee.

It’s rare to find a food truck that nails quality and consistency like this. Just be prepared that they only take orders at the kiosk so there may be a line to order at the kiosk during...

We happened upon this amazing place after spending the morning at the nearby dog beach. We were tired, sandy and hungry and just wanted to people watch and be fed. What a find! While ordering at the kiosk, the owner/chef was describing his favorites for me, not in an arrogant way but in a way that really made me feel his passion for the food. As soon as we sat down, they brought out a dog treat and fresh bowl of water for our dog! I don't remember the exact names of what we ordered, but one dish was potatoes with an egg on top, and the other was a breakfast sandwich. Being from Idaho, we are kinda potato snobs but these truly were delicious and well prepared. The sandwich was top shelf! We split it but were not able to finish it, so portion size is also commendable. Atmosphere is great (outdoor seating only) on a corner of two beach access roads so steady foot traffic for people watching. The owners checked in several times and were incredibly friendly and caring. 10/10 would recommend...

Popping in for a quick breakfast on the way to Point Loma ended up being our best food experience in San Diego. This food truck is leaps and bounds ahead of the local restaurants between the quality and taste of food, ease of access, prices, and atmosphere. Ordering was seamless, the patio has a happy vibe while you wait, and the food is exceptional. Fresh, flavorful, and great portions! Rodrigo is lovely and brought our toddlers a whipped cream strawberry treat. We chatted with him for a bit and I wish there were more chefs like him in the food industry. He’s engaging and passionate about his food and it shows. After trying the food our only regret is that we didn’t order the coffee too! Next time!
