Big Kahuna's Ice Cream — Restaurant in San Diego

Well, there are many interpretations of edible products and my favorite Shave Ice is nothing like a Snow Cone. That explains the absence of the 5th star. I ordered Watermelon flavor shave ice here in Pacific Beach on San Diego’s coast. The flavor was good and it was plentiful-so from the first spoonful to the last it tasted watermelony…..yep, it’s not a word. The customer service was excellent-the young man that waited on me was patient and helpful! There are picnic style elevated tables so you can sit and people watch or daydream staring into the Pacific Ocean. Can’t get a better view!! The “Shave Ice” wasn’t shaved. It was chipped off and then mechanically chopped so it was small bits of ice that looked very much like a Snow Cone to me. Still tasty- just not what I expected texture wise. BAD QUALITY, HIGH PRICE, USING unhealthy SYRUPS. Today, I was craving for BOBA, so I saw nice pictures and bought a thai BOBA tea here for $6.46. It was so soft and taste like carbonated. while I was walking, I stopped by at CAFE 20/20 and loved their freshly made BOBA and CREPE. They have so many choices..here... Worst customer service, lady had the audacity to ask for a tip immediately after charging me. Is he said and I quote “ Of course no tip?” and rolling her eyes.
