Okay so this is the third City Taco that we visited. We're trying to visit them all to give them all a fair rating and I must say this is the most interesting one that we visited thus far. We have been to North Park City Taco we have been to Pacific Beach City Taco now we are at the Ocean Beach City taco. So let's talk about what's interesting about this City Taco but first let's talk about the atmosphere. The atmosphere was quite quaint I must say. They had an eclectic array of different colored tables and chairs! I don't have a pet, but they had a dog park I mean it's a cute little setup. In the same lot you have the little floral shop in the mix as well as a place where you can get acai, smoothies and breakfast. I can only really explain it through pictures. So here's the interesting part you enter as if you're going into an actual restaurant. But the guy goes over to a food truck to get your food. Now mind you everything tastes and looks like the other two places it's just coming from a food truck. I found this to be super interesting. Anyway...

The tacos came with a grilled poblano pepper, seasoned ground beef, topped with a walnut cream sauce, and garnished with chopped walnuts and almonds, and pomegranate seed on a warm flour tortilla.
The tacos were very good and offered good flavor. The seasoned ground beef, although a little on the dry side, was well seasoned and tasty. The poblano peppers and walnut cream sauce were both very delicious.
The service was very good. Melanie, I noticed, was not only a very hard worker, as I watched her set up and prepared the place while I had my iced tea at OB Surf Cafe, but she was super friendly and offered great service.
There's plenty of outside seating and some on the inside. They offer a...
Read moreCity Tacos has a friendly atmosphere and great food. The menu has a good variety with a taco for every palate. Their fried fish and birria tacos are particularly good. The prices are roughly $4-$6 per taco, and drinks are extra. They also have various sides and a few desserts available. Plan on spending roughly $10-$20 per person.
It may be difficult to find parking, but there are plenty of places to sit when you get there. The property is wheelchair and walker accessible with a variety of seating arrangements that can accommodate those with disabilities. There are plenty of sunshades on the patio and cool indoor seating available.
This place is also pet friendly. Water for your pets is available upon request, and they have a small dog park on site.
Overall, I'm very pleased with City Tacos. I'll be stopping for lunch whenever I'm in...
