I want to start by saying I am a minor that works in customer service myself, and assist so many customers daily while earning minimum wage, yet have never treated any customer the way these two grown women treated me. I get that we all have bad days but both the women working at this establishment made my experience very uncomfortable. I didn’t catch any names because no name tags were worn. I came in two hours before closing with my boyfriend, and it was not busy. Immediately the woman who took my order seemed unhappy that we came in, and did not even let me look at the flavors of gelato they had before rushing me to order. As they were preparing, the other woman said something I could not hear. I said “I am sorry I couldn’t hear what you said” in a non-rude way because I could genuinely not hear, and she replies very condescendingly, that they were almost done preparing and that I just had to wait. I was is in no way or form rushing them as I work in the food industry myself and understand it takes time. After all was said and done we took the order to go. The first lady did not say she would put utensils in the bag and gave me a dirty look as I put them in, even though I did not know they were provided. All in all, there are many other high quality creperies to visit, with better pricing as well. I understand customer service is a stressful job at times but it was not busy at all, I did not come in with a bad attitude, and it was not near closing time. The employees are simply mean spirited, and I definitely don’t look over the age of 18 which makes it worse. Don’t know what their problem is but the experience here sucked overall. I really didn’t want to let this experience bother me but I hope that some changes can be made to this establishment to provide better experience to others who probably...

PROS: I had a delicious banana / strawberry / Nutella crepe.

CONS it was our first time eating here, and we were unsure of the layout (e.g. where do we order). There were only 2 people on staff working, but did not greet us and seemed busy. While we completely understand they were busy with their current tasks, I got the feeling they got annoyed by us asking where to order, as if we were interrupting them. The lady who we asked did not answer our question and instead just said "we'll help you as soon as we can". It was an awkward situation for us as we felt unwelcome and didn't know what to do. limited seating. I think it only seats about 8 people. room capacity is 20. the table we sat at looked like it hadn't been wiped down so I cleaned it. it's all plastic cutlery / single use items here. I was given plastic utencils and a paper plate with my crepes. I know this isn't a big deal for some people but I just wanted to flag that this store doesn't seem to be very environmentally friendly, which is important to me. expensive, but this could be the curse of Comic Con...

While the girl working there was friendly enough…she clearly did not want to be there. My questions regarding gelato flavors seemed to be inconveniencing her. I ordered Double Chocolate and Cookies N crème. First of all…this isn’t Gelato. Second…the Cookies n Crème has clearly been allowed to thaw and refreeze. It had a terrible grainy texture. I asked her for a new ice cream. I mean, when you spend over $7 for a small amount of anything…it should be done correctly. This time I asked for Double Chocolate and Pistachio. I received half the amount of ice cream I had before, she was unfriendly in how she dealt with me and frankly, this “gelato” left me craving something that is made with actual quality. But, on the up side…the coating of fat that adhered itself to my pallet, made it difficult to taste it anyway. I won’t be going back. I would advise you to avoid this place when wanting a cold, creamy treat. Such a...

Although the place was very nice but unfortunately I had bad experience in this place, people who work there were unprofessional. They weren’t welcome nor nice to us. The lady that work at the coffee section doesn’t even looked at me and let me wait for long time before she got my order with no smile and she looked as she mad or angry at me from the first second. Moreover, we ordered iced and hot coffee, both of them weren’t as good as they should, she made mistake in the iced one and the hot was too cold and although she should make it hot without asking me but I asked her to make it hot as my order was hot coffee of course!! Also the lady who took my order for the crepe was the same thing. Strangely, they became more mean because I didn’t give tips, i don’t understand how they expected it with their bad attitude towards us!!

Not one redeeming quality about this place. Tiny, not enough seating or table space for just 3 people, uses plastic ware (really? in a waste-conscious city?) that isn’t even sturdy enough to use. There was one person behind the counter and the customers kept piling up. We all got our crepes very slowly except my mom, and then the lady started washing dishes — had to ask, are we still getting our other crepe? She asked “what did you order?” They were out of chicken but didn’t tell us until after we paid so we got charged for chicken on 2 crepes (asked for one veg) but didn’t get chicken. One of the crepes looked particularly ridiculous, like something a 4th grader made in the kitchen. It cost $12.95. The crepes weren’t even good, dry and not very flavorful. Poor service, poor accommodations, bad food.

This little place has so many great things to choose from. I ordered the Pitaya smoothie, hot chocolate, L'Originale crepe, and a Acai Bowl. Everything was delicious. By the way, I ordered the L'Originale crepe as it did not have all the extra stuff in or on it. And it was the correct choice. Sweet, yet, not overly sweet. Not messy. It filled me up without that "over doing it" feeling. There was only one person working. Looks like may have been the owner. We were definitely okay waiting and after tasting our order we definitely would not mind ever having to wait for anything from here. I will be sure to add this to my food stop locations when in San Diego.
