I became a regular here but once the manager Mike started running things this place went down hill. He can't keep the staff on point or fix customer issues. Also I'm a very chill woman and would go to this bar after work to relax and hang with some friends. But because the bartender April has personal issues with me I was told I couldn't return even though I never did anything to that girl. I've never fought with anyone, cussed anyone out or made a scene when I could have after being discriminated against. It so hurtful because I've witness alot of things at the bar and yet those people get to come back. But me, a Black woman can't because one person doesn't like me. . wow. Seems very discriminatory and harmful. There was no other options given to fix this and I've spent plenty of money as well as time here. I've partied at this bar for a year now and in Point Loma all my life, I'm a San Diego native so I'm VERY hurt by this.I'm also mad because this is unfair. Plenty of other regulars feel the same way. I want this to be made right and I hope to speak to corporate soon because this isn't right. She needs to grow up and stop being a bully. It's sad because we were cool at one point but one time I didn't give her a tip because her service was trash then from there she's made me a target. I know legally you can't ask for tips but I've heard her ask plenty of times and cuss people out who didn't tip BUT management protects her and allows her to treat ppl this way. She literally told a young man that he wasn't important and shouldn't drink if he couldn't tip her. People go to dive bars to relax not be harassed and tips are mandatory. Also most of us tip based on services. I'm a professional woman and I don't like everyone I work with but I would never do ppl wrong because of personal issues. My managers also wouldn't allow this from a good customer hence my comment about Mike. Like we are adults and out of high school. I wasted my gas, time, and energy after a long day of traveling and work just to be told I had to leave because of one...
Read moreThe absolute worst place to go eat. We ordered food and drinks. Drinks were ehh okay because we ordered Patron tequila with pineapple juice, so you can't really mess that up, but she did. The drinks tasted watered down, and the food took forever to arrive. We waited over 40 minutes for food and nothing. Everyone else around us is eating or being served but not us. Not to mention the customer service. It was horrible, definitely not welcoming at all. The bar tender had an attitude while she took our order. Then, while we waited, he had probably already 30 minutes in, a male employee walked past our table and yelled, "What's up guys at us?" No eye contact just walks by loudly. It's not a welcoming spot, and I'm glad my husband didn't want to wait any longer than we did because I'm sure the food there is just as awful as the horrible customer service. Stay away from this dingy, dirty looking spot and save yourself...

The food is what's up here! $8 juicy steak dinner with all the trimmings was excellent! You just can't beat this! Also had the western BBQ burger, and I think they just took another sirloin and made my burger from that, as it was a real meatwich hanging off the bun! Piled with battered onion rings and thick caramelized bacon and a slab of cheddar cheese...drooling! Also $4 margarita Mondays...woohoo, worth it! This place is a local dive with a pool table, shuffle board, jukebox, tvs and friendly people to spend your time with. Plus, you wont break the bank! The staff were super nice and on the ball for such a busy time. Parking lot is shared with a strip joint, which led to allot of funny...
