Edit New review: I gave this place a 5 star review when I first went here but upon my return boy was I disappointed first the lady she said she was the GM at the register did not even acknowledge me she was to busy trying to put a movie on the t.v not a big deal there was one other table of people they had a dog she went over there and was petting the dog she shakes the 2 guys hands they were finishing there food still not a big deal she never washed her hands after and was touching all the clean glasses she brings us out fries we ordered a large but she brings a small I thought to my self Hmmm and we ordered a ketchup and a ranch and it was .75 cents EACH it only had the ranch When you get charged for sauce it better all be there I let her know we ordered ketchup also cause again it was 75 cents she looked confused but brought me my ketchup And again she still has not washed her hands Then she brings us our burgers or what she thought was our burgers but it was somebody else's order which is weird because we were the only people in this place at this time I explained to her that this was not our order and again she looked very very confused She said yes it is and we said no it is not She then takes those burgers back to the counter a few moments later she brings our burgers again never washing her hands I basically touched the first batch of burgers that she brought cause I was confused that she was so confused that she did not know what our order was she then bags that order up I guess it was a to go order and served it to some poor patron I explained to her that we ordered a large fry she again looked confused said she was going to bring us another half fry Why would you not just bring a large fry to the table but that's not where it ends she never even brings the half fry So basically this lady she said she was a general manager ripped me off about 3 to $4 and try to steel a 75 cent ketchup from me I usually will never rate a restaurant on service cause honestly I do not really care about the service just bring me my food in a timely fashion and I am fine but this lady I don't know if she was On drugs Which is also fine but just do your job your basic hamburger job But she should not even be a cashier at a burger place Let alone a general manager. Old review: When I found out a new rosemarie's in ocean beach opened up I had to go and it did not disappoint this place is great definitely the best chicken sandwich in San Diego the munchies cant be beat I also got the round up burger that's a winner also. My onion ring was a little to done on the round up but still delicious burger the fries are good but what stands out is the ranch with a little chipotle sauce in it is delicious. Service is great atmosphere is awsome this place is a must go to definitely try...
Read moreRosemarie's Buns & Brews, The outside looks like a hole in the wall. Pretty open-faced. The inside is small and cozy. Kane was our server and he was so friendly and made it feel like home. Great personality and fun! Today we ordered the Rosemarie's Mac and the Classic with onion rings and frys.
The Rosemarie's Mac was a double cheeseburger with 1000 Island dressing. So, The fixings don't matter; they are eclipsed by the burger and the cook on it. When the burgers come out, you can see the crisp crust on the patty. When you bite into it, you're joyfully surprised by how moist and juicy the burger is. I found both burgers to be like that, so toppings were secondary. The buns were nicely toasted just enough to stop it from spunging up the juice from the burger which made sure it was all over the place, just like a good burger should do!
The fries and onion rings were coated with an O'Bay-type seasoning. The crunch of the beer batter made these a tie for top onion rings in San Diego so far..
And for the OVER THE TOP SHOW STOPPER. The Carmel Apple Fritters. Fresh baked. Coated with sugar. These are the reasons that people are willing to go into a diabetic coma. So sweet, with chunks of apple and a huge coating Carmel. Baked fresh while we waited. Oh! If I died after eating this. That would...

It’s a two-location tiny burger spot that specializes in sliders. As a lover of variety, this is like a burger heyday because I get to try not one but two burgers! Now don’t be fooled… these “sliders” could probably slide right in with a smaller traditional burger… because they’re large for a slider. I got the Rosiemac and the Little Sal and both were delicious. Clearly they are starting with a good product so any of their creative combinations are going to be good. The Little Sal was my favorite with its onion confit and bacon whiskey sauce - it’s like the royalty of flavors were having a party and thank goodness I was invited. The onion rings and dipping sauce were also great aspects to the party. If you’re not a beer drinker (this seems to keep haunting me) the drink selection is limited. But it was the perfect excuse for a Mexican Coke which paired better than any brew in my opinion. Cheers to Rosemarie’s for taking sliders to the next level with their innovative delicious creations that start with a flavorful, juicy burger! #theburgertrail #burgerreview...
