Theos Hot Pizza — Restaurant in San Diego

This place had the best star rating in the area and we were craving pizza so we decided to check it out. We ordered a Supreme pizza and after one piece each we ordered another one because it was so good we knew one pizza wouldn't be enough. Maybe we were just really hungry, but this pizza hit the spot and was delicious. You can get pizza by the slice or you can order a whole pizza, which is what we did. They cooked one up fresh really quick for us and the wait wasn't long at all.

They're not really set up for an "in-store dining experience" but they do have four stools at a counter for people, which was great. We walked more than 20 minutes to get here and the guy was super nice about us eating in their shop and even got us paper plates. Overall, stellar experience and excellent pizza.

I’m a big pizza fan, coming from Brooklyn I never met a pizza I didn’t like. I was excited that I was able to order a pizza that had two different specialty toppings. Went for the vegetable and the spicy meat. The vegetable had actual slices of tomato on it, which watered down the dough and made it soggy. No other vegetables were easily identified as everything was ground down, except for an occasional mushroom or onion. My husband side of the pizza was delivered as promised except again very soggy, and could not eat it without a knife and fork. Came in with a family of 5 total about 30 minutes before closing and got a couple large pizzas and some garlic knots. They had the food ready in around 15 minutes.

The pizza isn't necessarily anything to write home about, but it was really good for the price. I totally enjoyed it and would get it again if I were back in the area.

Staff were really cool and well-humored. Loved talking to and joking around with the person behind the counter. Made the short wait feel extra quick.
