This is my first 1-star review, but it was hands down the most frustrating pick up order I’ve ever experienced. I placed an online order at 1:40pm, which said it’d be ready in 45 minutes. I arrived to pick it up close to an hour later at 2:35, figuring they’d hand me a box of cold pizza but that would be my fault and I could reheat it at home. There were a few people in line ahead of me who got theirs right away, including the guy in front of me whose order number was after mine and had also ordered a pepperoni pizza. I went up and gave her my order number. She said they were working on it and I told myself that at least this way I’d end up with a hot, fresh pizza! Then for more than 10 minutes, 3 employees just talked to one another, ignoring 5 people still waiting in line, 2 of whom left after not even being greeted/acknowledged. Around that time I asked about how much longer and they thanked me for my patience… and finally started working on my pizza, as well as helping people in line. I checked in again after waiting over 20 min and they said it’d be another 8 minutes (and another customer in line decided to harass me for asking for updates).
When I’d been there almost a half hour, a couple of pepperoni pizzas came out of the oven and the woman wearing glasses gave them to guys who hadn’t been waiting nearly as long as I had, and whose order numbers were 20+ after mine, blatantly ignoring me and avoiding eye contact. One of those customers even apologized to me on his way out, I imagine because he was uncomfortable with how they were treating me.
I managed to catch the eyes of the younger lady with pink hair boxing pizzas and calmly asked her to please explain to me what the process was for fulfilling the orders since both in terms of in-store wait time and order time (based on online order number), I’d been up before them. She was pleasant but that other customer kept interjecting and saying rude things/calling me names, which only served to raise tension. A man from the back, I’d guess the manager, came out and checked on it, brought me the next pizza and apologized that they’d been backed up, and kindly asked if there was anything else I needed. Even as I was walking out, that rude guy kept harassing me, which had made the overly long wait time even more frustrating and painful (and ironically he'd told me to leave shortly beforehand, which had been exactly what I wanted to do, just with the pizza!).
Long story short, as wonderful as this month’s promo is, it seems like an hour and a half to fulfill a pepperoni pizza order is excessive, especially mid afternoon when it’s not busy. It’s also hardly a hospitable/welcoming environment when the staff is talking to each other about non-work related stuff while ignoring a line of customers, and then acting spitefully toward someone for asking for updates on an order in 10 minute intervals, 45 min after it was supposed to be ready to be picked up… I don’t think even making one of their pizzas from scratch takes much more than 10-15 minutes, this isn't Chicago deep dish. If anyone came in hoping for a quick bite, they'd be sorely disappointed. I’d planned on donating $5 to their YMCA fund once I got my pizza, but after that experience, I just couldn’t wait to get out. I don’t see...
Read moreMy family and I enjoy Mr Moto pizza, we have visited the North Park & La Jolla location (when they had it, it closed down). My husband and I are beyond disappointed with this location, it was our first time visiting this location, and your cashier Jose gave me little to 0 costumer service. He was very unfriendly when I went to place my order, he rudely corrected me about the garlic knots, he also didn’t even bother to give me my printed receipt.
My husband went to pick up our order and they told him that they have sold our stuffed garlic knots, as you can see on my receipt they charged me for stuffed garlic knots that cost 7 each a 14 dollar value, Jose didn’t do anything, my husband asked for a refund and he couldn’t even do that! My husband asked him how could he sold us product they don’t have, when I placed the order they did have stuffed garlic knots. All Jose did was offer the 6 regular garlic knots that cost only 10$ short from the value of stuffed garlic knots I ordered !
This isn’t even about the money! I’m writing this review in the very very poor costumer service we were given by your employee Jose and their mistake! There are bunch of people ready to work, and you have someone who basically did not want to be there and gave poor costumer service.

Read moreI ordered a pizza and garlic knots through their website.
Big mistake.
It took over an hour for the order to be picked up, and then I got a notification that the restaurant passed the order off to Uber eats. The Uber driver first tried to deliver the order to the wrong address, then called saying I had changed the address (I didn’t), then hung up on me. I couldn’t even check what was wrong because I did not place the order through Uber eats.
To add insult to injury, when the Uber driver finally did deliver the pizza, the garlic knots I ordered were missing.
When I called the restaurant, I got halfway through saying, “Hi, placed an order for delivery” before the host interrupted me and pretended to put me on hold.
Not only did the food take close to three hours to arrive, and not only was the order incomplete, but I couldn’t even send a complaint through Uber because I did not place the order through Uber eats.
I also could not receive a refund for missing garlic knots and a pizza I am hesitant to eat given its unknowable journey here.
