I am not an expert in Thai food, but I love food that comes in a variety of flavors, and Thai meals have the right balance of flavors. The main flavors in a well-balanced Thai meal are spicy, sour, sweet, and salty. At Osha, they do a very good job of equalizing these vibrant palate parameters. In addition to ingredient flavor, their food emphasizes a balance of texture and seasoning.
Osha Thai's menu is seasonal and is updated monthly. I have only been there for lunch, but I am told by those who have been there for both lunch and dinner that whether it is lunch, dinner, or happy hour, you will have a very pleasant experience when you go there.
Osha Thai offers vegan dishes to its vegan-food-loving clients, which has made it an easy choice when I'm having lunch with my vegan friends. Although I am not vegan, I have tried their vegan dishes a few times and really enjoyed them. They use local, seasonal greens and, as mentioned above, change their menu offerings with new and creative dishes.
If you like spicy dishes, try their Lemongrass Chicken. It is sweet and sour stir-fried chicken with coconut milk, green onions, bell pepper, chili, and, of course, lemongrass. Again, it is best when it is spicy.
On my most recent visit, I tried their Osha's Tom Yum Noodle Soup, which comes with rice stick noodles, shrimp, fish meatballs, minced chicken, peanuts, beansprout, and a boiled egg in hot and sour Tom Yum broth. It was delicious and filling.
I have also had their Chu-Chi Salmon. It is a grilled salmon fillet served with "chu-chi" curry. Chu-Chi sauce is a style of Thai red curry that is usually paired with seafood in Thailand.
By the way, rice is an essential part of Thai meals, so many items on the menu come...
Read moreCoordinating a wedding from 7 hours away seemed so stressful. After doing endless research, visited 4 different venues, we quickly realized that non of the venues really fit our needs. After hearing from one of our family members that Osha hosted their wedding, we decided to give it a shot. We were already fans of the Osha chain due to their sleek design and trendy restaurants, and their amazing food, it looked promising. We had a wedding party of 80 people, and wanted a cocktail reception that really let our family and friends feel welcome.
Will and his team made things so easy, we did a walk through in an hour to plan the cocktail reception, and we knew that this was it. Their gold, warm tones, awesome trendy furniture, really spoke to our personalities. As our day was coming up and I was getting nervous because I didn't even see the placement of furniture in person but only spoke about it, I started wishing that I spent a week prior to our wedding to ensure planning. But I didn't, I trusted Will and the Osha team and I was highly impressed!
Everything went so smoothly, the venue was beautiful, I was caught by surprise and it all was beyond my expectations. Will made sure to sit us down to eat, because no bride and groom really eats on their wedding day, he made sure to communicate with my wedding planner, and seriously was a professional.
The best part... CUTTING OUR CAKE WITH A SWORD!! I loved it and it looked awesome in pictures!!
Will you are the best and thank you so much for making our day...
Read moreI had been here many times for lunch. Today we saw their sign board, advertising bruch until 3 pm. We walked in about 2.20 and the hostess said we close at 3 is that ok? I said it should be if we can get waited on quickly. We asked for dessert menus and were left waiting another 10 minutes before we got the dessert menu and the rude waitress immediately rush over to ask what we wanted. She was defensive about answering menu questions, proably since she wanted to knock off work as early as possible. My party hadn't even had 1 minute to look at the dessert choices. So I told the waitress 'he is looking at dessert' and then I ordered my food. She shook her hand and said I only have 30 minutes left now. She seemed to think I couldn't order, receive, and eat the food in 30 minutes and not a moment more. So what???? This is a restaurant, not a grocery store. If they advertise brunch until 3 they should be taking orders up to nearly 3 and not making the customer feel unwelcome and unappreciated. We canceled the order and walked out the door, irritated with their total lack of professionalism. Shame on you, Osha Thai! Your service has gone far downhill, and you clearly hire unprofessional people with poor work ethics. Perhaps this restaurant has just...
