Pacific Catch — Restaurant in San Francisco

My Korean BBQ was absolutely delicious with Grilled Steak cooked just the way I like it (med well), perfectly roasted Brussel Sprouts and Spiced Cucumbers. I enjoyed my Mushroom Miso Soup as well. It helped me relax after a long day of flying. However, I ordered via Uber Eats pretty late at night and it came without the Kimchi Fried Rice, or any rice at all (only a bed of greens). I don't believe it is ok to skimp on or leave out a main ingredient just because a meal is being delivered. Especially when the meal is a more expensive one. If no rice of any kind was available, the restaurant should have called to make me aware. I haven't been to San Francisco in 18 years and only had one full day visit so I was really looking forward to enjoying something new after arriving on an evening flight before a long day of work the next day. My wife and I went there today for the first time. The food was good. However, we will never go there again.

The waitress that served us was very unfriendly and even rude. She brought us the check while we were still eating without us asking for it!!!! This is rude and unprofessional. She said someone told her to bring us the check and then she disappeared. I felt like we were being kicked out by her.

Also, when she took our order she was not even looking at us at all and did not even say hi. We had to search for another waitress just to pay our check. Her behavior was very offensive and she did it in a passive aggression way so it is hard for us to complain.

I wish I am wrong, but it was very obvious to us that she did not want to serve us.

Visited Pacific Catch on Chestnut for the first time and it was a great experience. The pictures of this location (there are two in the city) is a bit unassuming because it’s more of a “express location,” than a full restaurant. There are some seats inside, but, it’s more of bar seating. There is ample outdoor seating in a park-let. I truly enjoyed all of the food that we ordered. I definitely recommend the “coconut shrimp and wagyu cheeseburger with sweet potato fries.” All of the food was great and fresh. This is a great location because there are LOTS of restaurant options and shopping up and down the street. There is plenty of street parking but because of all of the businesses and residential apartments, it feels like all of the parking is taken all of the time.
