Writing the review in hopes this place will change their ways for future customers… not me as I will never come back here.
I call to make a reservation- they ask for name and number so i think everything is good. When I get there theres one woman who is waiting and another getting pedicure. I tell them my name and i made a res. They say ok and after a few minutes they start giving lady who is waiting a manicure. After about 5 mins i ask how long and they point to the lady getting pedicure saying after her - she was on her first clear coat of nail polish. So i decide to leave.
Why tell me to come at a certain time when youre not going to guarantee a reservation? Did you think id wait 30 mins when theres a million other nail salons? So disappointing- not only did you guarantee i wouldnt get a pedicure but you get a bad review as customers cannot trust this salon will guarantee their reservation? I would have much rather you had been honest with me.
On top of that the salon is tiny and a bit uncomfortable. They dont even have proper manicure stations- you sit in the entry way on a black leather couch and a pillow for your hands.
Save your time for places that are far more inviting and comfortable, as well as those that guarantee a reservation. This place is so small youre bound to wait bc of small amount of employees.
More importantly, dont be dishonest with a customer that is making the time to call you for a reservation bc i can guarantee they will find another place...
Read moreI came here because they had such great reviews and I’m not sure how that’s possible. I got a standard powder dip and it came out horribly. Nails are not even, are lumpy when you tilt your nail- they weren’t when I arrived so I’m not sure if it was too much drummel or what. Two days later, with no roughness use of my hands, it’s chipped down to the powder. I’ve never experienced this before. I’m equally disappointed about the pedicure. You can see the polish streaks and the color is not consistent. Their set up is not even conducive for a mani & pedi at the same time. Maybe powder is not their strong point, I’m not sure but It’s so disappointing to spend so much and be so disappointed. On the plus side, the staff was nice and at the time I went, there was no wait. I also didn’t feel rushed. But definitely call ahead because it’s a small operation. Would not recommend for powder nor will I...
Read moreToday I went to the nail salon for my daughter. She begged and begged to go. I finally caved in. At first I thought geeze waste of money for my 4 year old. But after reading reviews I wished I got shellac for her instead of polish. I read the reviews of 25.00 for pedi and mani. Geeze u can’t get that price in San Diego where I’m from. I can only imagine the lease is high in SF that it should be 50.00. These 3 ladies all did a great job. I didn’t get there names. However I’ll be back every time I visit SF. The WHOLE EXPERIENCE felt first class. They have a drying station that they put on her lap. I need one of those. I have a hand dryer fan at home and I’m sitting there fixing her nails every 30 min for 3 hours..lol My suggestion bring your kids!!! Well...
