Roughly 6:10pm June 22nd 2024 we went into the Brandy Melville shop in San Francisco CA located on Chestnut St. We looked around and it was very crowded, I understand that can be very overwhelming as I too work retail however as we were leaving an employee wearing a white long sleeve shirt with USA written on the front came and shut the door with extreme attitude. My cousin walked up behind her and waited for her to move to follow us out of the store and the employee then opened the door and let it slam shut behind her. As we walked my cousin told us that the employee had apparently asked her to move but the store was so crowded she didnât hear very well, so instead of repeating herself the employee shoved past her. I called the store to complain and happened to have the exact same employee answer the phone, I told her the situation not realizing it was her and her response was âOkay?â and this obviously irritated me so I said that they should speak to her about respecting customers. Instead of apologizing or explaining herself she said nothing and hung up the phone. This is completely unacceptable, she was brunette with brown eyes and appeared to have a beauty mark on her face and she needs to be spoken to or fired if this isnât her first time...
Read moreThis place was incredibly insulting. Staff talked to me like I was a child. Staff in glasses with bleached hair (with her roots coming in) and "I â¤ď¸ nerds" shirt (what even is that) stopped me at the door and accused me of stealing, staff member with bangs followed me through the store pretending to shop and constantly radioed to the fellow staff members and used sign language to 'signal' i was stealing when i was checking out. They also constantly checked the bag of poc customers coming out of dressing rooms but never a white girl. The staff with the glasses glared at me while I was at the store and the one with bangs literally peeked over racks to stare at me. When I was buying something the one with bangs stood right by me and stared at me. The staff by the dressing rooms also talked badly about other customers right in front of customers. A previous time I was there they also checked the bag of a black girl but not the white girl she was with. If that's not obvious racism I don't...
Read moreawful experience. management needs to get it together and stop hiring disrespectful girls and start hiring people with basic human decency. after checking out at the store i found multiple stickers slapped on the back of my hoodie. i was just with one other person (who obviously didnât do it), and i 100% felt a girl brush way too close past me so safe to assume it was her. crazy the girls working here think its okay to touch someone without their permission. grow up. if you donât know how to act, maybe go back to kindergarten and relearn âkeep your hands to yourself.â
i wish i knew the names of these girls to report them but it was hard to tell them apart between the matching pajamas they were wearing.
i wouldnât wish this experience on anyone. if youâre even thinking about going to this store, donât. shop online. the service sucks and every location iâve been to has girls with the...
