Sool Bar and Lounge — Restaurant in San Francisco

Update: Sool was the perfect venue for my birthday party! I did a full buyout of the bar for 3 hours. It was a good amount of space for my party of 42 people. With the full buyout we got the whole venue, including the upstairs private karaoke room! I was allowed to bring in my own DJ as well. Sool also provided catering for us.

From the planning phase, their events manager Kha was very communicative, gave me all the info I needed, and answered all of my questions. The staff was great on the day of the party. My friends and I had a wonderful time. We loved the drinks (the soju cocktails were a big hit), the venue itself, the karaoke song selection (They had KPop Demon Hunters songs!), and the food. The Sool Spam Musubi was a fan favorite! Thanks again to Kha and the team!

Previous Review: Came here for the Soju cocktails and karaoke. The vibe was chill but fun on a Thursday night, not too crowded. Ordered the Strawberry Moon IU soju cocktail, which was SO delicious.

The bartenders were lovely. My friends and I decided to rent a karaoke room upstairs. The karaoke room was spacious with two screens and lots of seating, clean, and had a great (and up to date) selection of songs! Looking forward to coming back here to try more...

The bartenders on duty, Trisha and Laura, were amazing, wonderful, super, awesome…words cannot describe how very Superawesomecool they are that I just had to make up one! Made some incredible drinks. Very helpful and attentive. They even sang a song together upon my request “Too Sweet - Hozier”! (For the record, Trisha and Laura did not bribe me with drinks and a karaoke song to write this glowing review)! I arrived around 11pm to find the main bar area practically empty. Very likely due to many people preparing for the SF Marathon the next day and doing the responsible thing and going to bed early. While I was also running in the Marathon, I decided to come check this place out since I am from out of town and only had one night in SF. A few more patrons arrived after myself, (a couple celebrating their 13 year anniversary, random group of 4 guys and 1 girl)! We all took turns singing Karaoke in the Main area and had a great time! I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for good drinks, good service and good karaoke! I will definitely return again on my next visit to SF! I would not recommend going out drinking the night before running a marathon though! But oh well,...

I had rented the bar out for my birthday party in January. I worked with Kha via email to get it all set up. Kha was VERY attentive, and very responsive, and answered any and all questions I had. Which I truly appreciated! Kha was also very flexible if I ran into any issues. Really shows they care in my opinion.

The drinks at the bar are really yummy, the Alchemy of Souls being my favorite. Roughly 50 of my friends showed up, and the bartenders were kind, and effecient from start to finish. Shoutout to Jin! She's amazing! I didn't try any of the food there as I brought snacks, cake and cupcakes for everyone, but those of my friends who did order the food said: "It's not too bad."

The atmosphere was nice, and the lights and neons lights were stunning. Karaoke systems worked very well, and the bar was kept clean throughout our time there which I loved.

Overall would definitely come back, and have already been back for less...
