Starbird Chicken — Restaurant in San Francisco

Tried to order Gardenbird through postmates. It says 30-40 minutes. Once I put in my order at about 5pm it says latest arrival 5:58. 3 drivers showed up, waited for my order for at least 10 minutes each, then canceled. I couldn't even call to find out what's going on because Gardenbird doesn't exist according to Google maps, took me all this time just to find out it's the same place as Starbird. On the 4th driver they moved up the guaranteed latest arrival by an entire half hour, 6:26, because "the merchant needs more time to finish." I'm quarantining in dorms so I can only order food from 5-6. I just had to cancel because no one would be able to pick up the food at that point. I thought by ordering at 5 it'd give plenty of time considering I'm a half mile/4 minutes away. How does it take over an hour to put 4 veggie...

The food is edible. That’s about all there is to say concerning the wings. The lemon pepper had the slightest of fishy taste to them, like someone didn’t fully clean out the fryer when switching from fish to chicken. The buffalo had very little sauce on them. I ordered 12, and 4 of them were basically half-sized wings, so for all intents I only received 10. I ended up throwing half the meal away. The fries were cold. And not like lukewarm because I arrived five minutes after they were ready to pick them up. Like cold cold. Pretty disappointed in the entire meal considering all of the positive reviews. Either this was just an off night, or these poor people giving them 5 stars have never had good wings in...

This place is horrible. I have tried to support this place over the years after first experiencing it at SFO. However, the SF ghost kitchen is absolutely ridiculous. Almost every time there are delivery issues. What a joke, this is a delivery only location and they can’t get that right. Just ordered tonight and after waiting over an hour, tracking shows the driver on my block. I go out front of my building and no food, no sign of anyone. Check the tracking and it says delivered. Great, now what?!? Absolutely No way to contact the location. Really?!? So not only am I out $$ I now have no dinner. Totally lame,...
