Tequila Mockingbird — Restaurant in San Francisco

Web have been to Tequila Mockingbird a number of time, but the last visit was very disappointing. So, based on that visit, I would like to express my disappointment in how my party was treated. And while it the atmosphere and drinks were enjoyable, I must give a 2-star review due to the poor treatment we received.

We arrived at the bar and ordered our drinks, looking forward to a fun evening. However, shortly after receiving our drinks, we were informed that the bar was closing early for a private party. We were told that we had to finish our drinks quickly and leave immediately.

This was extremely frustrating and disappointing, as we had made the effort to come out and enjoy the bar's offerings. It felt as though our patronage was not valued, and that we were simply being pushed out the door to make way for the private party.

While I understand that private events are important for businesses, it is unacceptable to treat paying customers in this way. I hope that Tequila Mockingbird can improve their communication and customer service in the future to avoid similar situations.

Overall, while the drinks were good, the poor treatment we received leaves me unable to recommend Tequila...

I was here for a birthday party where there must have been 50 or so attendees. There were two bartenders. Horrible ratio. Everyone who wanted a drink waited at least 10 minutes for one. There should have been pre-made cocktails or a simple pre-selected menu. The bartenders were overworked and stressed, which in turn led to poor service.

On top of this, both of the girls were extremely rude. They never said "Thank you for waiting," and I heard from other attendees it was the worst experience they have ever had with a bartender. I. Happy there was someone throwing up all over their bathroom floor, they deserved it.

Too bad this was my first experience here. The place seems nice, but definitely not a good venue for party space-wise either. Everyone just coagulated in front of the bar.

My advice would be to at least have a bar back working when your venue is rented out. 3 bartenders would have alleviated the problem.

Straight up bad. Went after work one day, the second I sat down at the bar I could tell how waisted the bartender was. (Black dude.) He was having a personal fight with a female (assuming girlfriend) at the end of the bar and it was making everyone feel awkward. 30 minutes later when closing out I saw he added the female next to me’s drinks. I told him that I don’t know her. He then gave me attitude and said “we’ll you were talking to her” I explained yeah, doesn’t mean I know her. He then, rudely said he’s closing me out as if I wasn’t already leaving.. I explained I didn’t appreciate his attitude. Which he then started to Shout at me “It’S mY bAr an iF yoU dOn’t liKe iT tHen f#cking leave.” Any “owner” who acts like that deserves to go out of buisness. All in all, it was a childish exchange. HIGHLY DON’T RECOMMEND. Plus the selection was lacking. Not much Tequila and didn’t even have Clay...
