First time in my life I've found GARLIC in my sushi - not fresh garlic, but toasted, salted garlic! The flavor was so discordant and strong in my mouth I had to suppress the urge to cough my food up. The chirashi plate was overpriced and the chef cutting the fish didn't seem to know how to prepare the sashimi (big chunk of fish - as though they were meant to be bbq'd on skewers).
I am sure for a certain palette the food is appetizing but I left with the taste and smell of toasted garlic stuck to the top of my mouth.
It is kind of like someone who is color blind wearing garishly colored clothing. This menu is for the taste blind - garishly flavored cuisine for a palette accustomed to charred meat smothered in pepper corns and spices.

After seeing a cute picture of Uni with Quail Egg, I tried it and it was very good as well. The meal is not complete without a special roll literally on fire, so we tried it because it is very novel to me. It was good to try once, but I don't think we will order it again as there are better choices. As to parking, the street parking can be challenging, but you won't have any problems if you are willing to walk 3 blocks or so away. Overall, I think it is a great restaurant worthwhile to stop by if you are in the...
