My roommate and I went to this location after finding them on TIK TOK. Initially all seemed well. We called and made an appoint for 2 people with dip and the jelly pedi 6 step. We arrive and we are taken to the pedi chairs and 2 older women did our pedicures. First of all I don't believe they were licensed to do nails from the way the process went and I also feel they didnt know what they were doing. The lady doing my feet removed my gel polish and made my toe nails so thin i said something to her about continuing to file the polish off. Then my roomate got white polish on her toes. Her lady couldn't even polish the correctly so my lady had to do her polish.

So then to our nails, we soaked the dip off and the people were adamant about getting the hard gel which felt like they didnt want to do the DIP because BBOOYYYY did they press us out. We give in and get the hard gel. Well the lady Pham(not sure the spelling) was now doing my friends nails, she clearly had the most experience. She ended up with her because the lady who initially was doing my pedicure had to polish her toes was not able to do the hard gel. So what does this mean I get the lady doing my nails that couldnt even polish.

Long story short. I leave the salon my friends nails look great and they last. I didnt notice until we got home that my nails were not uniform in smoothness and were very thing (WHICH MAKES SINCE AS TO WHY IT WAS HURTING WHEN THEY CURED THE HARD GELL) that lady didnt put enought. Fast forward to the weekend before geting my nails done, 2 nails broke because it was so thin. Then i go to the beach and was in salt water. THE BUILDER GEL STARTED PEELING OFF LIKE REGULAR NAIL...

I'm sad to have to be writing this review. This was my third time coming to the salon. The first time, I received a hard gel manicure but the hard gel had a bunch of tiny bubbles in it, so they allowed me to come back to fix it for free, which was great. The last time I went was today. I went in for a "hard gel fill." The process had nothing to do with filling. They completely took off my old hard gel, every single layer. The nail tech roughly sanded my nails down to a very thin layer, so much so that my nails were in so much pain and I had to keep pulling my nail away so she wouldn't keep hurting me. The entire layer of hard gel was completely removed, down to the nail bed. Then, as a result of her filing my nails down so thinly, when my nails were cured in the UV light, they burned so much that it felt like a lit match was being held up to them. I asked her if it's normal for it to be burning so much, and another nail tech was sitting next to us. They both said nothing. I was in so much pain that I was sweating. It was too late to turn back at that point. I am devastated that my nails are absolutely ruined. They are so thin that it hurts to type this, and my nails are still burning 4 hours later. I'm at such a loss. I don't recommend this place one bit. The polish looks great, but I don't even care about that. My nails are the thinnest they have ever been. If the hard gel had been filled in, like I had made an appointment for, this would not have happened. Do...

I have heard wonderful things about The Beauty Shop and their amazing nail art. I went today for a pedi and gel mani and was sadly disappointed. The shop itself could just a good cleaning, as I wiped down my own pedi chair from the last client. My pedicure was as expected and the highlight was the hot stone massage. Unfortunately it went down hill from there. During my gel manicure I was expecting my cuticles to be trimmed and cleaned and my nails to be shaped. While there was some cuticle clean up, I left with many hangnails. I felt the service was more aligned with an express service then complete service. The application of polish was less than average with polish flooding my cuticle bed and under my nails themselves. Overall application was not at all smooth and lacked basic attention to detail. The shop only charged me half price for the manicure and suggested I communicate with the technician regarding my concerns. I sincerely appreciated the discount, but personally prefer services where I do not need to instruct the tech. I did book the appointment on line, and while it said it would take an hour total, I spent and hour and a half for a no polish pedi and poorly executed...
