Anita Gelato Condado — Restaurant in San Juan

Everything is good except one man that work in the store. I went to get gelato after dinner and was waiting in line to order and want to test some of flavors before I decided which one I want. I asking him can I try some of gelato ? His face is so unfriendly and pick the flavor I point but the way he pick the flavor he makes the gelato almost falls off on his hand and then give it to me ???? At the same time it was busy I don’t know what to do. I look at his hand I know it going to fall off but I don’t have a choice I pick it and then it’s dropping on my shoes and my hands!!!! He doesn’t care and just gave me a look.???? I take tissue and wipe it off on my hand and asking him another flavor he did it again make it fall off !!!!!!!!! He doesn’t have professional manners or even say sorry? my husband as well get the test from his hand and falls off right away after we take from his hand. It not just only one time but it three times every single time we asking test gelato from spoon! !!! His face so unfriendly and no manners at all. I love gelato here and like the one in old San Juan. But yesterday I went to the one in condado the service is suck! Especially the man only one man that work in the counter at night. If the owner see my message please check your customer...

Anita's is by far my wife and my favorite sweet treat spot on the island so far! We were initially just walking past it and weren't going to stop in when a patron sitting at the tables outside told us we wouldn't regret trying it out.

Let me tell you that advice was spot on. This is the cutest gelato place we have ever seen. The decore inside thrilled my wife as it's all pink! The employees behind the counter are full of smiles, friendly, and super helpful. They are happy to give samples of the different flavors to help you pick the right ones and fill those little cups to the max. Please note that you will have sticky fingers! There is so much in the cup that it will absolutely melt down the sides, but I think that's half the fun.

The flavors are all delicious so you really can't go wrong with any choice. I know we talked about Anita's for the rest of our trip and only wish we could have brought some...

The best gelato hands down.😋🤑 It was totally worth waiting in line for half an hour. Our host Sebastian was excellent. Helped us patiently as we tried a few different flavors before making our selection. I was thrilled that I loved all the flavors that I sampled. Which made choosing a little harder. I settled with hazlenut and pistachio creme brulee. Delicious! Not just good food but great customer service too. Even though the line was so long, Sebastian treated us with patience, smile and grace. Another thing, as I waited for my turn I notices someone kept cleaning the tables frequently.
