Went to this place a few hours after landing in San Juan. We came across it randomly and decided to try it out because it gave off a really nice local vibe. We don’t speak Spanish very well, so another customer kindly helped us place our order. The chef, a kind elderly lady, came out of the kitchen to ask us how the food was, which left a great first impression of the local people.
The food was excellent. We had the Chicken Parmesan (a bit of a surprising choice in Puerto Rico), but it was really good and we enjoyed it. Crispy and with a quite good flavor. They serve amazinggggg food on paper plates. And abuelita is legit in the back making some of the best food I've ever had. The whole fish and shrimp mofongo I had is still stuck in my mind....

Thankfully a gentleman was able to translate as their weren't any bilingual staff (obviously our bad for not knowing the language better).
We also stocked up on drinks for our Airbnb because they had great prices and an awesome local selection...
