I came to Puerto Rico on vacation for the second time and this time I was recommended to visit this restaurant on ave. Ponce de Leon. I came in and I’m a dark skinned Puerto Rican Americanized so off rip I was judged. A dark Latin woman approached me automatically assumed I wanted take out handed me two menus and walked off. Never returned to ask if I was ready to order. Eager to try the food I walked up to the counter and placed my order with the same woman in Spanish. I walk out after being told it’s a 15 min wait went to Pueblo returned and another female is at the bar young blonde with Jean jacket and glasses I tell her I’m ready to pay. Her response is you can pay the tip first here pointing to a $5 tip option for a 32.31 order. I had to place on my own w/o service. When the food comes out after the blonde girl rolled her eyes to me when I told her no tip. She refused to hand me my order for a good 5 min with bag sitting in front of me until I asked in Spanish. I get back to my room and half the food is missing. I called and the store acted like no can understand me and hung up. I walked back with what they gave me plus my receipt spoke to the woman who took my order at first she agrees my food is missing and approaches the male who bring it out and the blonde who charged me. The secretly speak on the side start giving and come back to tell me they will not make the missing food nor give me my money back. I contacted my bank and made a claim so I will get my money back. I also called first thing this morning and spoke to a supervisor who never called me back as promised. Which is fine but what is not fine is how I was treated as a first time customer over a $5 underserved tip. They got all of their food back and refused to refund me and that is fine they want to steal but god is always on good...
Read moreFirst and last time here. Got here a bit past midnight and the clientele started to pick up, which I understand, it’s busy. However, I had to TRY to talk to 4 people when I wanted to pay my check. I kept getting ignored and I was ready to leave. Only ONE waitress, woman with short curly hair, that seemed very overwhelmed with the busyness. Shoutout to her for trying to hold it down, but it was completely chaotic, never came to check on my husband and I when I found a hard and long plastic in my food. At the time I finally received my check, I told her about the plastic I found in my food and she told me I should’ve said something sooner. How was I supposed to tell her if she never came to check on us? I told her I wasn’t trying to dispute any charges, but just letting her know. Please don’t waste your time on this place, food was super mid, not worth your money. Go support another local restaurant with your...
Read moreWhere do I begin? We’re from NYC and we KNOW Good food. We arrived right before the crowd at five pm on NY day with my husband and son. My husband ordered the Grouper and Trifongo, my son ordered the chicharron sin huesos con arroz y habichuelas and i ordered medium well done Churrasco with tostones. Everything was cooked to perfection especially the chicken chunks. OMG. Nothing greasy, everything flavorful! Our plates were empty - sorry no pics! Our order took a little long due to a group of 24 arriving right before us but our kind and attentive waiter Ruddy apologized and our second drinks were on the house. I highly recommend! Great ambiance and delicious food! Drinks on point (Cosmo and Tito’s with parcha) Diverse crowd - tourists and locals. Will definitely...
