I am an English-speaking tourist. The waitresses look very tired and uninterested, which I understand because it was around 12:30AM. I took a while to study the menu. When the waitress approaches, I told her that I needed more time. She said that’s it’s okay. But what she did was just standing there and wait for me. (O_O) Ok not weird at all. Oh btw water was not served the whole time I was there. I ordered the conch ceviche. It was very flavorful and tasty. For my main dish, I got the grouper fillet platter with monfongo. They provided a pink sauce and a chimichurri sauce. The chimichurri sauce tastes a lil strange, like the tinge of dirty dish washing sponge. The tomato slice on my salad has a black (likely moldy) spot. Notably, I found a parasite in between my grouper fillet. (As a master in bio major who likes to read about parasites, I am pretty confident about this). It’s not dangerous because parasites are easily killed by cooking. However, regardless of my passion for learning about parasites, I really don’t anticipate to see any on my plate. Hence, I did not finish it and ordered dessert. I got a flan. The flan was fine, but the liquid under the flan both smell and taste sour and fermented (not in a good way). I don’t want any trouble and the waitresses are not very good at English so I didn’t say anything. All in all, I don’t think this restaurant is a worthy choice. I got that I encountered a parasite outside of lab though. Fun stuff. This review is also posted on yelp.

Seriously the best food I had since I came to Puerto Rico!! We are staying at a hotel where food there is catered to tourist.. you know you’re average chicken wings burgers salads etc!! We wanted to taste the authenticity of Puerto Rico and found the perfect place. It’s small and intimate but the service of the staff is nice and the food...OMG.. the food is absolutely amazing. It is exactly what we were looking for. The ceviche de pulpo y camarones was so delicious!!! The skirt steak rice and beans is probably the best thing on the menu!!! Chicken soup and 7th power soup was ridiculously delicious! We have been here since Monday, it’s Wednesday now (2/10-My birthday) and I wish I can rewind time just so I can have those days to enjoy the beautiful culture and real taste of Puerto Rico! Highly recommended ☺️

I came here because I was famished and needed to eat and drink to get out of the heat. I ordered a shrimp cocktail, tostones, and a piña colada with rum. The food and drinks were good but when I asked for the bill, she didn't bring me a receipt. Only told me it was $28. Ridiculous for the amount of food I got. I didn't even want to bother arguing with the waitress because it seemed like she just really didn't even care to be there. The service was the worst I've had in a while. My shrimp cocktail was just 6 or 7 shrimps thrown on a styrofoam plate with a few onions and peppers. For $10 bucks it was very little food and not worth it. And I can only imagine she charged me $15 for a piña colada that I asked for with house rum. It's only $6 on the menu so the up charge of $9 for house rum doesn't make sense to me. If I was at an upscale restaurant with great service, I'd be glad to pay. But for a place like this, I'd much rather spend my...

This was an unexpected stop. My aunt told me I must try something here. I wasn't hungry when I stopped here but the place looked nice enough to check it out. It was a party of four and each of us got an appetizer. I had the vaso de pulpo ( cup of octopus salad) it was DELICIOUS! Fresh, not drenched in oil, and a good balance of Italian green pepper, onions and octopus. I also tried a bite of what everyone else ordered; Conch salad, King Krab and Seviche. They were all good. In order, I liked Conch, octopus, seviche and king Krab salads. We had beer with that. The service was on point. It was clean and inviting. Glad I stopped while I was visiting the island.

I don't think the King Krab was the real thing, I think it's the imitation Krab meat. Based on my observation, I think that's standard through out the island. They don't specify that...
