Mutuo Sabor Nikkei — Restaurant in San Juan

While the food was decent, our overall experience was unfortunately overshadowed by the service. I dined here with my girlfriend and her family, and the service took nearly two hours from start to finish.

When I requested water, it took about 30 minutes to arrive, and when I inquired about it, the server seemed frustrated and mentioned being very busy. Additionally, my girlfriend’s dad had to send his food back because it was cold when it arrived, requesting it to be remade.

For the sushi orders, no soy sauce was brought to the table, which required my girlfriend and her mom to find the server to request it.

While the food quality was satisfactory, the delays and lack of attention to detail made the experience less enjoyable. If you have plenty of time and patience, this might be worth a visit, but be prepared for a slower...

Stumbled upon this restaurant on our way to a concert because the hunger was real and the other restaurants nearby were filled to capacity. Upon arrival, the host was super friendly and accommodating. We expressed how we didn’t have too much time to dine and he provided some menu suggestions as well as shared his knowledge of the artisan beers. The dishes were served promptly and not only did the food hit the spot, but the taste of both the ceviche and the fried rice was off the charts! Absolutely amazing, and we are certain it wasn’t just because of our hunger. It was so good, we didn’t even notice that they forgot the serving spoons, we just dug in with our forks and managed to finish it all. We are so glad to have dined here and will most definitely return with more time, to try other items...

Alejandra was amazing, best service in Puerto Rico! Food was great and came out super fast. We had the fried rice and the saltado noodles. We tried to use food vouchers and didn’t realize they were just for the Bay Rooftop Bar. However, the host said we could use the vouchers. After our meal was finished, we were told we couldn’t use our vouchers and had to pay the full price of the meal.
