I wanted to like this place. I even tried it twice. Tonight I ordered the mushroom truffle risotto. Menu listed the ingredients as mushroom, truffle oil, parmesan cheese and risotto. Just what I wanted, simple and rich. What I gor was what would likely have been a delicious dish but cooked with the equivalent of probably an entire diced onion included. I could smell the onion when it was set down and it even overpowered the truffle. I tried to dig the diced bits out but it was an impossible task. The dish was inedible. The waitress asked about it and I told her it just had way too many onions to eat. Other than a few bites of the mushrooms, I barely touched it. They charged $28 for that bowl of onion blended with a little cream and risotto. I did mention to the waitress that they should add onion to their list of ingredients on the menu. She just said they put onions in all the risotto - as if that made sense why one wouldn't add it to the menu?
So this was my 2nd time here (last time was a poor excuse for a steak). There won't be a 3rd time. The glass of cab I ordered was pretty horrible as well.
I was the ONLY customer here for dinner tonight. That should have been my sign to skip this place.

We tried a few variations - way too much vermouth, and in the dirty version too much brine juice and vermouth. Service was poor on a night with a total of 6 customers we were left waiting for our drinks for extended periods. Based on responses to other reviews, the owner tends to blame the guest for any negative experience as opposed to looking to learn and maybe improve the experience for future guests. I got the cowboy rib-eye - next time, I'd get the rib eye - cooking temperature was as advertised, which is unusual in Puerto Rico in my experience.. shoestring fries were great salad was ok - dressing mass market and uninspired.
